Fireside Inn Santa Cruz

It came with a fridge and microwave... the toilet seat should be replaced... damaged and reminds me a frat house back in the day. There was hair and make up on one of the pillows... good thing I brought my own

The toilet didn't flush, holes in the walls, missing outlet covers, and the bed made noice EVERY time you moved (literally). I would never stay here again and wish I had picked another hotel. Even the great location could not make up for the lack of sleep. Every movement was creaking wood! And I'm not talking about coupling. I'm talking about turning on your side, sitting, etc.

Location to the boardwalk was very convenient, literally one block away. The hotel was a little old and needs a major upgrade, parking is very very tight. Air conditioner was working but room was still musty and warm a little. Other then that it was a nice stay, my family enjoyed the weekend there I would stay again.

We waited an hour and a half after posted check-in time for our room to be "cleaned". The floor was so filthy we had to put towels beside the bed to clean off our feet before getting into it. There was evidence of a shave in the bathroom sink and the trashcan was filled with trash from the previous occupant. It honestly appeared the only thing they did was change the sheets, for which I suppose we should be grateful.

Checking was great, parking space sucks narrow space a couple bad parking cars was blocking the exit, Room waw not clean properly, toilet seat was broken, the bed was ok..

Location walking distance to BoardWalk, wharf, downtown SC great. Customer service accomdating and very nice. Building and room need some TLC. If i understand right new owner so maybe there are upgrades planned.

The only good thing was it was within walking distance of boardwalk. The room was very small, it was dirty so dirty our feet turned black after walking on the floor. The parking was horrible and the property was filthy with trash everywhere. I was very disappointed

Service was good. Hotel is little on the older side. Would have been an ok stay but the cleanliness was terrible. Fridge was dirty on the inside. The towels is what grossed me out the most. Stains and some hair was still stuck to them. None of the towels were stained free. Parking was very tight.

Horrible looking place. You get no refund. Parking horrible up on a hill and no space to drive hardly.

Great location if you’re going to the boardwalk.
