Hotel Schlüssel seit 1545

It was an amazing stay. The bed was confortable and the owner was kind and friendly. We needed slippers and she found us nice slippers. We are willing to come back when we visit Luzen again.

Hotel is centrally located and easy walk to old town and sites. We received a card for free bus transportation which we used to Mt Pilatus and transportation museum. US travelers budget extra money for food 2-3x what we would normally pay. The hotel staff and people on the street were very helpful

nice small hotel in the downtown of Luzern, Switzerland. It is easy to access a lot of scenery spots of Luzern.

The bed was comfortable, the room was charming, the shower was great and the location is very quiet, next to a lovely church in a rustic corner just over the bridge from the busier center. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel boasts a very good returaunt up stairs and also has an outdoor seated area where they serve food and drinks. We loved this hotel and will go back one day

I loved this hotel, right on the center of the city close to the train station, location location, location. Next to Catholic Church, very good for Christmas Eve mass. Very charming, old vibe, so cute. If you like ancient building with huge character, this is it!, no Modern ultra luxurious, then this is not the one. Clean, nice, comfortable, little cold filtered through the window, which was OK. part of the charm. Different floors, wooden beans, elevator so small and narrow, will do the trick for slim to normal shape of body, It fit my two huge luggage. Own bathroom, shower, sink, toilet inside room, NICE!.The staff were really sweat, multilingual, easy to accommodate the guests. Breakfast was a great continental one, everything fresh, croissants, juices, cold cuts, and cheese, Uhm…(at no extra charge) Also, milk and coffee so delicious. The restaurant inside was cozy and nice, excellent food, not a lot of variety, will feed the hunger in you. I just love old charm :)

Wonderful location just next to the Jesuit Church. Breakfast was minimal but definitely adequate. Employees were super nice. Really enjoyed the Christmas Market being just outside my window.

It was very nice. The staff is nice and the guy who settle us in was very polite and awesome. He even suggested places for us to go. The hotel itself is very clean and tidy and also spacious. The area around is excellent , I do wish I have stayed longer. The only downside was the weak wifi but it didn’t really bother me that much (:

Hotel Schlüssel is amazing. Its a smaller hotel, with reception on the second story (don't be confused you're in the right place, just got upstairs). The hotel was built circa 1545 and has so much history! The staff is wonderful and the room we stayed in was very comfortable. (In fact the most comfortable of the 4 we stayed in while in Europe.) The area around the hotel is walk able and safe.The only drawback is that the wifi is not great, you have to be in the lobby to use it which makes staying connected to friends and family at home a little hard. But really, you're going on vacation to disconnect, right?! Honestly, this hotel was simply perfect and I would stay there 100 times over again.

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel Schlüssel war wunderbar. Schöne und geräumige Zimmer. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. In wenigen Gehminuten ist man im Zentrum bzw. am See.
