We had really warm and attentive service throughout our stay, the reception staff were very helpful and efficient and the breakfasts were excellent, with lots of smiles. Great staff, lovely people. Nothing was too much to ask, which made our stay very enjoyable and we will return.
The bathroom was not clean and someone’s jewellery was left in the shower prior to my arrival. The room was really cold even when I turned the heater on it took ages to warm up and it was still really cold. Very disappointing!
Nice hotel with pool and gym but found rooms cold and the blower wasn’t very warm when set at 28 but otherwise fine close to where I was working good parking and friendly staff
Great stay
While I know things have to.change under Covid we paid £10 each for a breakfast of assorted individual items in plastic packaging most of which we didn't want. A simple tick sheet or to be asked.would have saved loads
Staff are wonderful & extremely helpful. The hotel seems to not have had any updates regarding room fixings, furniture etc... Not as clean as I would expect in genearal regardless of corona virus. A deep clean in parts not immediately seen wouldnt go a miss. I do believe for the standard offered it is overpriced. This place has not been refurbished since it opened like 18 years ago.
Really bad experience staying here. Thankfully, only had to endure one night. From arrival, me and the family were made to feel like an inconvenience by the woman on reception. Very blunt, minimal eye-contact, barely any information given to us. Room was not clean. Hairs in the shower, toilet not flushed, carpet absolutely pigging!!
We have stayed in this hotel a number of time and it’s been fine .... this time the room was disgusting marks all over the walls and toilet had stains on .... shower didn’t work ... and only 2 towels, I stay in hotels very often for work and social and I am easily pleased, I hardly ever complain but this one was not good at all , the people on the desk and all staff where very pleasant and this is no reflection on there service in fact the only good part was them!
On arrival I don’t feel that the receptionist was very helpful or informative regarding Covid restrictions in place. Although we were given tea/coffee etc for our room there were no cups in the room, there was only one set of towels for the bathroom. There were no draught beers available in the bar only expensive bottled beers. We ordered breakfast for 09.00am on on departure day and received it at 09.30am but only because we sent a message to ask where it was, that said, when it arrived it was excellent.
We were aware there would be restrictions because of COVID but there were quite a few issues. Booked for 2 adults 2 kids - Bedding missing for 1 child. Charged full price for breakfast as a package online and we found out on arrival it would be a packed breakfast delivered to room. Nothing that the children or adults liked. Tried to cancel for second day but because we paid as a package we couldn't. Hardly any staff on site - Had to wait a long time for the many queries we had for the 2 day stay. The positive note is we did get to have a swim for 2 days.
