Avoid this hotel!
This hotel was awful! I’m absolutely shocked that I paid $300 for 1 night (before tax and fees) for a tiny, dirty room! The AC didn’t work so it was incredibly hot and there weren’t any water bottles offered in the room. There was hair on the bed before I even touched it and the sheets where stained. There was hair in the shower, stains on the carpet so much that I didn’t dare take off my shoes, and a disgusting, grimy shower curtain in the tiny bathroom. I’ve stayed in hostels much nicer than this! For $300 a night this is unacceptable. When I called to complain and ask for a room change, the person on the phone did apologize but said I had to go down to the front desk myself to switch rooms. No one offered to come to the room to inspect it or to help me move to a new room. I was thankfully given a new room, but on one checked on me once I was there either. The new room was clean but still small and smelled moldy. Still definitely not worth $300 for 1 night! When I checked out the next day, the person at the front desk had no idea about the room issues or change of room, so clearly there weren’t any notes in the system. Horrible customer service and experience! I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs! Oh and it’s the same hotel as the River Hotel, so avoid that too! They are the same building and same staff, just have different names for each side of the elevators for some odd reason.
