Not bad for the price extra security with indoor
Closer to the train station and Main Street for the restaurants and shopping. My entry door is in side of the building instead of outdoor which provides extra security

Great for a bargain
I chose this hotel because I was looking for the decent end of price bargain, and it met or exceeded my expectations. Overall pro: Not dirty or grungy - seemed to be maintained and cleaned by competent people who care Overall con: Breakfast area was tiny, and only two small tables for seating to eat. Food selection was meager.

Was fine for a cheap few night stay. Bed was comfortable. Wasn't the most clean place. Breakfast was not available. Good location.

Well first off all, price was advertised for less on Expedia’s site, even with included fees. Yet when I went to book it was almost $30 more. I paid it because I needed a room as I was on the road for quite some time and needed to rest. My room was on second floor and there was no elevator. Didn’t know that ahead of time. Guess next time will book at another location that I know has an elevator. Then “breakfast included “ was not available at the time it was advertised. I was asked to give them 5 minutes. I said it’s ok as I needed to get back on the road.

It's a fair walk into the town. There's no lift so request a ground floor room if you've mobility issues. Very easy access of the Main road.

Extremely dirty room and bathroom. Bathrooms are tiny, the sink is in the room. Stinky room, the AC doesn't work good. Housekeeper knocks on the door with a "do not disturb " sign on it. The breakfast contained only cereal, coffee and juice. No water Overall disgusting place

The room was descent enough for a night sleep. The property is just off the highway. The hotel could use some updates. The refrigerator was leaking. The hotel advertised breakfast at 6:30 and there was no breakfast that time. We had to check out early and was hoping to grab a bite before driving. No one at the desk. The breakfast area was a small counter and you could see coffee spill stain on the wall. The sitting area for breakfast was a couple of tables across from the check in counter. Just provide some refreshments and snacks but don’t say you provide free breakfast.

Simple accommodation for an overnight.
Beautiful town to visit in summer. Economy Lodge is walking distance to the historic downtown and Grand Canyon Railroad station. Rooms were fine. Breakfast was pathetic, even for a continental as cryptically advertised on the web site (toast, yogurt, cold cereal, juice). Dining area is small and cramped at the entrance. Their coffee machine was broken and they had no alternative set up! Said to make coffee using the small machine in the room (one cup at a time). That coffee was bad. McDonald’s across the street was better. Coffee shop in the historic district was good (named Brewed Awakening).

Sorry to say, I got sick and couldn’t travel. But I’m sure it would have been wonderful. When I’m recovered I will try it again.
