Homewood Suites by Hilton Richmond - Airport

The room wasn't the cleanest and my towel linen was soiled. When I asked for a replacement, I was told that couldn't be done because extra linen wasn't available. The room was also hot. The air couldn't be adjusted. During a Pandemic, the front desk were not wearing masks.

First room was dirty, second room was not much better.

It was good stay but was kind of disappointed about my room..sticky substance on the table, hair was on the bottom sheet when we inspected it but overall ok

The room was really nice. The only bad thing was there were huge spiders everywhere!!!

Dated and dingy. Worn. Cleanliness marginal.

I have been coming to this hotel for years as it was one of my favorites in the sandston area due to it being tucked away in just the right spot for me. However, this visit was horrible. My room had a horrible stench coming from the garbage disposal. I called the front desk about it and someone came to look at it. He dropped something in the disposal and said that should take care of the smell then left the room. Whatever he dropped in there didn't work and the room smelled horrible for the 3 night's i was there. So bad i had to leave my room door open to try and air it out. Then the overall cleaniness of the room just wasn't there. The bathtub was filthy even after housekeeping left the floors were still visbly dirty like it hadn't been vacuumed at all. There was a huge wet spot on the carpet for hours that wasn't there before housekeeping came. The dishes were left dirty in the sink I assume because the smell coming from the disposal was so horrid they didn't dare to mess with it. Only reason I stayed in this room is because i was in town for my grandmother's funeral and i just couldn't deal with fighting with the hotel staff. I didn't have the energy or time. All in all i will never stay here again. There's actually more negative comments I could leave such as the noise level in the hotel and the fact that we were denied a early check in because the room "wasn't ready" only to get into the room and it still wasn't ready even at 3pm but i digress.

It was just ok. There were minor issues. But once there are 7. It gets annoying. And I understand that everyone wants to claim they are so clean because of covid. But food actually stuck to dishes in the cabinets and drawers is annoying. I've stayed at quite a few homewood suites and this just wasn't up to par. Then when I couldn't find certain dishes. There was a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. So placing stickers all over the room to say how fabulous you are but leaving me a room full of dirty dishes was disappointing.

nice staff, but pool overrun with screaming kids! breakfast was pretty good too.

Great Stay Comfortable bed. Clean room. Great water pressure. Close to airport.

I didn’t get to stay there some about the water but I wasn’t inform until I was ready to check in that night so we had to stay down the street at Hampton Inn and that was terrible
