La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Sandpoint

We've stayed at the La Quinta in Sandpoint twice now, and both times were terrific. Very large king-bed rooms, this most recent visit they upgraded us (without our asking) to a king suite. Very comfortable bed, everything seemed to be in perfect condition, totally clean. Right in downtown Sandpoint, so easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

This was very noisy, not secure or safe, uncomfortable beds, not enough blankets, cold, unresponsive, worst stay at the La Quinta I’ve ever had. I do not recommend this facility.

Very noisy, door to elevator area did not shut so it was not secure at all, room was only okay, bed uncomfortable, only one light blanket in the middle of a winter weather advisory and a foot of snow.

The hotel worked great for what I needed. Love their friendly pet policy and my dog did too! The room was spacious and clean and the TV channel options were great. The location is great for wandering around my cute little hometown. I do wish all staff would wear masks while covid is still a very big risk and there’s a local mask mandate. Some were wearing masks and some weren’t. It just helps make a stay more comfortable when you see all staff actively showing they care about the health and safety of their guests and setting a good example. Every other hotel I’ve stayed at this year has followed the simple safety guidelines and have required masks for all common areas for staff and guests. I choose where to spend my money based on businesses that follow the simple covid guidelines. Too many I’ve known have been very sick or lost loved ones to covid.

Convenient location

Check in was fast and friendly. Our room was a nice size, clean, very comfortable bed. We did see the Mountain ftom our room. The grab and go breakfast was great. Walking distance to most everything in town, too! We would definitely stay here again.

Check in was fast but this place had 3 different locations and we did have to drive up the block to our room. The card did not work twice and when the lobby is in a different location that is a pain. The room is dated and needs updating. Gout in bathroom missing in places and crumbling. Small balcony just enough to stand on. Beds And pillows very firm. Restaurants in walkable distance.

likes: well maintained, free parking, very close to restaurants and shops, elevator, secure, reasonable price. just ok: breakfast choices. coffee good, but go to connies or spuds if you want a real good breakfast. it's a covid problem...

Stayed here for 5 nights October 2020. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. I prefer a less firm mattress and these mattresses had a topper making them ideal. Upon check in i discovered a problem with my rooms A/C unit which was blowing hot air. The front desk quickly moved me to another room. The pool was closed (October / Covid) but the Hot Tub / Whirlpool was available and extremely spacious. I estimate 14 people could comfortably make use of it at one time. Temperature was Ok but could of been hotter. I enjoyed my stay and look forward to my next visit.
