Good enough for me, but maybe not for my family.
Overall this was a pretty decent place to stay. The place was kind of old and you could smell the scent of cigarette smoke and cologne though the AC vent in the bathroom. The room was pretty bare and was missing curtains. So it wasn’t really cozy. Check in was easy and the girl in the front was polite. Overall I was just looking for place to sleep while my son competed in his state meet, and this place didn’t job. If I just need a room, I could see me coming back, but I don’t know if I would bring my entire family here.

This hotel had no leeway for early checkin which would be understandable if the hotel was full. From what I could tell there were about two cars in the lot besides ours and only one other person for breakfast so I just didn’t understand why even coming back every 2 hours the manager made us wait until 3 NO EARLY CHECK IN

We were not notified that construction was going on. The room stunk. Food ran out at breakfast, yet they would refill. Beds are small, loud, springy. Way overpriced. Will NEVER stay there again.

The staff was very friendly, however the facility was awful. Terrible musty smell, like mold. Very humid in the room even with the AC on 68. Hallway smelled like marijuana. There werekmited memories like extra pillows. There was a beeping sound outside that started around 3am that kept us awake. The room was relatively clean but not comfortable - bed was hard. We had to exit our stay a day early because of the discomfort. Worst motel experience.

BEWARE THIS HOTEL UNTIL REMODELING IS DONE!!!
This hotel is in terrible condition. I have seen better bathrooms in service stations. The tub caulking was dried out and breaking off. The room was horribly dated. There were signs saying that a remodeling was going on, but we sadly did not benefit from it. I would never stay in this hotel again.

I'd like to pay special tribute to Samantha. This lady truly exemplified 'going above and beyond the call of duty'. The special attention she afforded me in the reservation process was outstanding. We will most definitely stay here again as this stay-coming back to my hometown stay-was most enjoyable. I personally recommend Samantha be given an immediate pay raise and promotion. Business goes on during renovations. Great location between Mulberry & Bartow, FL. Traffic noise during the day (get that anywhere in Florida). Lots of parking spaces except by front door. Staff great, eager to please. Hot & cold breakfast available. Always a pleasant, comfortable stay.
