Its the second time weve stayed there, probably the only place we will ever stay on the beach again. Beach access and pools are excellent!!! This room wasnt as satisfying as the last room we had but we dont require much so thats ok. They ask you to wash and bleach your towels before you leave with "provided detergent and bleach" but there was none, house keeping couldnt seem to help and said they will wash them for us when we leave. Had a tv issue but maintenance came quickly and was SO NICE and stayed until absolutely everything was figured out. There are no genuine complaints at all, this place is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Easy quick walk down to Pineapple Willys for a quick bite or frozen drink. Gas station, waffle house, and walmart all within walking distance. Would recommend 10 times over..
The room floors was very dirty. The view was great,the pool was great as well. We enjoyed it but cleaness is very important to us.
When we arrived, the office for Long Beach Resort was closed due to Covid. We had to drive down the road to check in, and they did not activate the key cards to our room. We had to drive BACK to the office for them to activate our cards. Our bathroom shower was disgusting upon arrival. There was debris in the floor of the shower. Also, the rug was SUPER slippery in front of the balcony door, so I decided to move it. When I did, it was like 5 months worth of dirt was swept under that rug. Another issue was that the garbage disposal in the kitchen smelled like something died in there. I had to buy deodorizers from Walmart just so we could cook in the kitchen. Also, there were no trash bags in the bathroom trash cans. Thankfully, they did return the cleaning fee. It was still disappointing to be on vacation in such a disgusting room.
We had to check in an hour later than our check in time because the room had to be "Inspected" after it was cleaned. I am not sure what they "Inspected" but half the blinds were missing, which made it hard to sleep in. The floors were filthy, the furniture had sand all in it. One of the beds did not have a fitted sheet. The bathrooms were nasty and when I complained I was told that maintenance would be up to repair the blinds (never happened) and I was told the supervisor would contact me. Never heard from the either. Will NEVER rent from Resort Collections again.
This was the best vacation that my husband and I had. The place was great and very clean. The staff was friendly. The flat parking was great bc I do not like parking decks. The property is located in a great location and easy access to a lot places. I definitely will recommend this property. I will be booking this twice next summer! Bring on next summer!!
Disappointed. No front desk; no maid service; broken doors; broken furniture; TV didn’t work whole week; dryer ruined four pieces of clothing. If you only want beach and don’t care about condition of property or quality of staff it is ok place, otherwise find another place.
The condo was not in as good of condition as shown on the website. Checkin was at 4, but the condo was not ready until 5. We did not receive any notification that the property would not be ready. They were adamant about checkout time at 10 even though we didn’t get to check in on time. To add to that the cleaning team showed up at our door at 930 on checkout day. The floors were dirty when we arrived. The shower curtain in the master did not fit the Shower rod. The kitchen table chairs had tears in the cushions. All that to say the property was not in as good of condition as advertised. We had to request extra towels and washcloths which was difficult because we could not get anyone on the phone. One of the 2 elevators was out of service on check in day. When we called about it they suggested we take the 12 flights of stairs to get to the room on the 12th floor. The condo was quiet and spacious and the view from the balcony overlooking the beach was nice.
This is our second time to stay at Long Beach Resort. Wonderful! The staff & security our so nice and helpful. Other guest have been courtesy and fun! This is our home away from home at PCBEACH! Thank you Long Beach Resort!
The staff was very kind and polite. The amenities outside the units were nice and well kept as best I could tell. The room however was a bit disappointing. As it states not all units are the same because of individual owners. But the pics are clearly only from the best ones. Our unit did not have a fan on the balcony as the pic shows. Had broken patio furniture and only two old ratty chairs you could sit on, not lounge chairs or nice furniture as the pics show. Bedroom and living area ceiling fans did not work. Broken tiles in the living room area. Tub faucet in master tub was too short for water to actually go into the tub. Had a sour smell the whole time in the living room area. Had to spray Lysol constantly. Paid over 2k for 5 nights in a 2 star hotel room in my opinion. I could tell from the outside that some units were better taken care of than the one we were in. Its a shame there is not a standard set for all units to meet. Makes us uncertain if we want to risk going back because we do not know what we will get.
