Like staying at a dog pound. Pet friendly is one thing but being awakened at 7am by barking dogs is over the line.
Stains on the sheets, bugs on the carpet, and the hallway is repulsive. It took me 10 minutes to check in, and not a soul in the lobby was wearing a mask. The employees are kind, at least. That was it’s saving grace.
I’ve stayed here before when I came through town a few years ago to get my pup. Everything was fine. NOW- I will not be staying here again. The room and property were disgusting. Trash everywhere, inside and out the property. The carpets in the halls hadn’t seen a sweeper in months. The bed seemed clean, which was a relief, but that was the only clean thing. There were dirty boot prints all over the tile floor, the shower and shower door are clearly not cleaned between guests, and the bathroom in general was in disrepair. Things falling apart, construction hack-jobs, and just plain dirt. I suggest that your money is spent elsewhere. OH, even though they advertise “individually wrapped items” for breakfast, we were thrilled to find out that they wouldn’t be serving us any breakfast at all. Go elsewhere.
It felt like a safe place to stay But They could have cleaned up the trash at the side door
I did not like the set up of the suite. There was no door separating the living space from the bedroom, overall cleanliness was not great and the position if the king bed was in direct view of the living space’s TV. This was difficult because the televisions were the same model and was able to be controlled by the same remote.
Checking was great. We got to the room and the toilet didn’t work. Changed to a new room and was told we could not have the rollaway we requested (fire hazard). The a/c stopped working on the second night, we hit the manual reset to get it back on. The in the morning the 5 year old told us she had ants crawling on her and when we checked the bed it did have ants. Also, breakfast and pool were not available even though it was advertised.
It's a hotel, all the amenities are closed and despite Hotels.com saying breakfast was included, they do nothing. Room was clean at least. Like a 7.5/10 experience. Would of been better otherwise.
