Howard Johnson by Wyndham Hattiesburg

Hotel is kinda run down looking but, beds are comfy, updates and repairs needed. Person who checked us in was very nice. People hanging around hotel were a little shady. But overall, slept great and price was cheap for a our one night stay.

The rooms are being remodeled my original room the door wouldn’t open no matter what. They lady at the front desk went above and beyond helping me and getting me in a different room. The room was very clean and bed very comfortable.

We pre-paid for the hotel room to get the best rate. When we arrive at midnight expecting a decent hotel room, they had no rooms left. Unbelievable!!!!!

Carpets dirty, not vacuumed. Advertising breakfast but not even coffee. Using covid to do much less. No sign of housekeeping. Just hope sheets were washed and changed.

Dirty... Hair all over in the tub and around the toilet.. Cobwebs (literally hanging) Dirt and bugs around the edges of the floor (especially corners) Rusty fridge on the outside, dirty on the inside (cheese wrapper and some cheese crumbs left in there) Microwave just looked grose, didn't even want to open it Thank goodness i had lysol spray, lysol wipes, paper towels, and bags.. Didnt expect to have to clean my hotel room after being on the road with 3 kids for 2 days before i could even get them fed or showered. Also exceptionally disappointed after i already booked a room at another hotel.. went in the room and the floor had dead bugs and crumbs all over and the toilet was coveree in dog hair, i wouldnt even let my kids go in. We just left, then to loose out on that money to spend on another hotel that was also terribly dirty... Why is is so hard for people to clean (especially if it's literally their job) ? Everyone's so worried about this virus we cant even have the "included breakfast" yet we do nothing about everyday things not being clean that should be a given......

The room was absolutely disgusting! It was supposed to be Queen beds but it was only doubles. The carpets were filthy. The sheets were definitely reused and not clean. The whole smell was moldy. Then we had to apologize to our kids over the weed smell. We would have left but there was no availabilities anywhere else within a 2 hour radius.

Nothing special, just your typical motel. Was fine for our 1 night passing through.

Room was clean and a good bargain! Certainly worth the money.

Load Ac unit, unclean conditions, carefree about c-19 , wouldn’t move rooms, tried to be nice, sorry but that’s it.
