Chancellor on Currie

Rooms are ok, reception and the entrance not so appealing, parking expensive and off site, they charged 50dollar per night from my card even if I have already paid and it's taking too long to refund the amount, very an acceptable. There was no many options of tea and coffee I had to call for tissue, soap, and towels They wanted to charge me room service dinner even when I never ate from there Parking was a problem, lift was not working and stairs so smelly I would never stay there again.

Not as good as past stays, service has definitely gone down hill, avoid the restaurant at all costs, their idea of garlic bread is a warm burger bun with some garlic seasoning and 4 pieces of grated cheese on top!

Cannot fault it. Very comfortable

for the price this hotel was excellent - the design is a bit tired but the rooms are decent in size, clean and comfortable and most importantly the bed was really good and better than a recent stay in another hotel (5 star owned by Paris)

A lovely little hotel with very friendly staff a lovely comfy room and bed with a great breakfast too. The location is perfect.

Got a terrible room. 1st floor internal view of a concrete space, so-called King size bed was two singles pushed together, the bathroom was designed for handicapped people so a large space with a tiny corner basin and a shower with no containment or rim (or slope, apparently) so the water literally flooded the entire bathroom, just about out the door. We were made to wait at least 10 mins on check out just to drop off our room card because the (single) woman serving dawdled checking in a customer (who even offered to stand aside while she helped people checkout, to which her response was "no, it's all right"). We were tossing up between the Chancellor and a couple of other hotels, which we'd gone elsewhere.

Only there to sleep but room was clean spacious and very comfortable beds. Staff very helpful on check in and check out

This Hotel is a Boutique style Hotel, with Old World Charm. It is very well located just a few minutes walk to Rundle Mall, and all transport is very close by. The staff are terrific and nothing is too much trouble. This Hotel is very well worth a stay.
