Quality Inn Wickenburg

Room was clean and comfortable. Service was good, very friendly attendant at front desk. Besides the pool being closed probably due to the current health concerns, we had a great experience and will likely be staying there next time we have a baseball tournament.

It was an easy yet disconnected and uninvested in my stay being a decent on at best from the get go. Then... there was mold. Black MOLD in the shower and bathroom. I was sick within 1&1/2 hours of being there and left. After speaking with the front desk attendant who sad they would be in touch to most likely refund the stay the staff has not refunded me much less followed up with me as promised before I left.

A little getaway weekend to WICKENBURG turned out to be extremely disappointing once we checked-in at the Quality Inn. The staff was polite. Upon entering our room, we were greeted by swarms of MOTHS...at least 50. They were everywhere. It took us nearly 1-hour to kill them all. Then when we went to wash our hands...THERE WAS NO SOAP IN THE ROOM!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? We had to go to the front desk and request hand soap. We were handed 1-tiny bar....that was it for the entire weekend stay. We had to use that for 3 days and 2 nights of showers along with all hand washing...which is abundant due to COVID-19. On top of that, the nearly disintegrated old body towels had nasty stains on them. IT WAS GROSS!!! Since there was no other hotel with availability we HAD TO STAY. After returning the next day after touring the area, we were once again greeted by nearly 50 MOTHS!!!! OUR STAY WAS HORRIBLE...NEVER AGAIN. We woke-up at 5 am on our last day and HIT THE ROAD....NEVER TO RETURN.

Under normal conditions room is not terrible by small town standards. About what is expected in small towns. But this is covid-19 time. Only staff member we saw did not wear mask. Actually did not see a single person in city wearing mask. Did not see any sign that stated rooms were virus clean. We wiped down room ourselves. As for room, toilet seat was broken and there was what appeared to be a bit of black mold living here and there in the tub. Room was quite small. On plus side AC worked perfectly and TV had many channels. I read my book and sprayed my hands now and then, wondering is St Christopher would really offer any protection should I request same.

I feel they are harvesting the place..The one person working the front desk was very helpful but was working a 30 hour shift because the workers were not coming in...I asked for a pet free room..he said they try not to accept pets bust some get thru..but Hotels .com states pet friendly!! Our room had had a cat in it..one of the pillows had cat hair still on it..and also a perfume smell on another pillow.

Facility was clean; staff were courteous; ample parking even would accommodate big rig; wifi had good strength

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and well stocked. We didn't check in till 3 AM and staff was very friendly.

They charged us $180 for a run down property, with an old, chipped, dangerous bath tub, a loud air conditioning unit, and a breakfast with an awful selection. I would have been fine here if the rate was under $100. It's a one to two star hotel charging 5 star rates. Stay somewhere else in Wickenberg.
