Baymont by Wyndham Meridian

Room was filled the smell of heavy cigarettes smoke. bed sheets, pillows smelled also, Toilet dirty. A/C worked poorly and loud fan noise. Tried to sleep and just left early. Wyndham should sell this property or find responsible management

The place has definitely seen better days. It's a budget motel, but is in worse condition than other similarly-priced options I have stayed at. To be fair, I haven't stayed at those other chains in Meridian, Mississippi, but from my experiences at Motel 6's, Red Roof Inns, and the like around the country, they are kept up better than the Baymont location I stayed at. The TV remote wasn't present in the room. The guests in the room above smoked cigarettes on the balcony which let the smoke smell come right into my room below. I get it, it's a cheap roadside motel, but not awesome.

This hotel is completely misrepresented on Hotels.com. The front desk people were very nice, and I feel bad leaving such a terrible review. But the room was completely dilapidated. Outlets coming out of the wall which didn’t work, food on the floor. Dirty bedding, with stains on the throw pillows. I’m pretty sure this hotel is used for “guests” staying a few hours.

Missed having a microwave, the furniture is OUTDATED, they didn't have Bravo, VH1, We, MTV or ANY other "GOOD" channels.

AC worked good and that was important. Everything was clean. It was good for what we paid for it. We were there for the dirt track nationals so we were only at the hotel to shower and sleep.

NICE hotel room but there WASN'T any sugar or cream for the coffee, the chairs are outdated and there ISN'T a microwave.

The room itself was ok. But the toilet didn't flush right. And in the morning when I flushed it after taking a dump, it overflowed! When I went to the office they handed me a plunger and told me I had to fix it myself. There was excrement all over the floor that I had to clean up, which I did. They gave me towels to soak up the water, and I had to step on them after I took a shower. UGH!!!!!!

The hotel staff was great and very friendly and helpful if i had questions or any needs. The room was adequate, older hotel, and it shows. Holes in the walls from decor/wear and tear. The floor was dirty, my kids socks and feet were black. It was fine for one night but I personally wouldn't want to stay longer.

Room was clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. It is in need of updates and has some obvious wear and tear. Smoke alarm had also been removed. No breakfast provided, even though it was advertised, due to Covid. Just there for a quick night, so it was an ok stay.
