Our room had fleas in the bed - both myself and my partner got bitten. The pillow had a blood stain on it from a previous guest. The drawers had medicine and bags left from a previous guest. There were stains on the bed which I don’t even want to think what they were. We found a toenail on the floor. The hair dryer in the room didn’t work. Our key card to the door stopped working after the first night. Whilst these unhygienic standards are bad for a hotel it is made worse that this was during the covid-19 pandemic where cleaning should be increased.

After our stay on Monday night, this was a great improvement. Back to the standard of service we have come to expect from staying here. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Will continue to use it in future.

One of the less successful stays.
The receptionist was fine. The room smelled heavily of stale cigarette smoke. There was a cigarette filter floating in the toilet. When reported, the best on offer was to spray the room as there wasn't another room available to give us. This did alleviate the problem but didn't remove it completely. We have stayed here before, with no problems. Have to put this one down to experience.

Considering the corona virus restrictions, the staff were excellent. No concerns with the cleanliness of the room. Altogether a stress free stay.

This hotel situated in services areas and if you missed then next is M4 slip road and will need to long turn to come back . located on service so all time out side busy , car park is free but must register with reception reg number. the hotel post code is little doggy so sat navigation will not take you the exact hotel location, you need to check around by self.
