NH Collection Köln Mediapark

El hotel es muy simpatico. Su personal es muy amable y su desayuno es muy rico. Su ubicacion esta bien, solo que tienes que caminar varias cuadras para llegar al centro. Su habitacion es comoda, con rica ducha. Es un hotel que vale la pena. Me gusto !!

El hotel está bien en general, sin embargo para ser de la categoría NH Collection me esperaba mucho más de las instalaciones del hotel, los detalles de la habitación, ya que tenía desperfectos: Máquina de café rota, el recolector de cápsulas. Rodapiés rotos. La mampara de la ducha no impedía que el agua saliera al baño.

Good option in Cologne, if you come with car the entrance to the hotel is through the parking. Good breakfast, good care about Covid, nice receptionist, we even enjoyed the bar with a German wine and beer.

Our stay at NH Collection Mediapark Köln will be one that will stay in our hearts forever more. Our stay exceeded our expectations by far. I advised the hotel prior to our stay that the occasion for our trip was a wedding anniversary. Issam Bouya, Guest Relations Manager was extremely kind to provide us with extras such as a room upgrade, breakfast, a cake, Prosecco and kölsch vouchers. These kind gestures went above and beyond. We felt as if we were on our honeymoon again!! He was so very helpful in providing details of real authentic German places to eat and drink. This was something which was very warmly received. Issam had such a friendly personality and a heart of gold. The hotel is immaculate and has a classy feel from the moment you walk through the door. The rooms have incredible views of the Cathedral and on a sunny morning it’s a delight to wake up to. The rooms are so spacious, they are fully equipped with everything you need and more! The hotel is just outside the main city which is perfect if you want to be away from the overcrowded streets. This hotel is truly a gem of a place and I would recommend it to everyone. Thanks for creating memories which will last a LIFETIME! :-)

All the staff was approachable, nice and professional. Our room: was light, spacious, clean with a great view on the cathedral We loved the breakfast, the selection is large, ex : 10 kind of juices, sparkling wine, lot of different types of breads,pastries and no queuing. Location: very central, 10 mns walk from the nearest metro, 10 mns walk from the city centre, quiet area ,away from the city trafic Spa: not the biggest spa I ever seen but still it was clean and we enjoyed it. Bar : cosy bar with good selections, and great deals

Although a little away from centre of Cologne we were happy with location in Media Park. Close to cinema complex which even had an English screening. Well appointed restaurants close by. The hotel was comfortable and very clean.

The hotel is really nice and we enjoyed the area. It's an easy walk to a lot of bars and restaurants. My only complaint was the check-in/out process. We had to wait in line for about 15 minutes when we arrived and then the person who checked us in did so under the wrong name. Luckily I noticed that the check out date was wrong and he changed us to the correct room. However when we went to check out I had to fill out all of the paperwork again since what I filled out at check-in was for the wrong room. Check-out ended up taking 15+ minutes, which was super frustrating because our parking meter expired during that time and we were worried about getting a ticket. Other than the front desk not seeming like they had their act together it was a very nice stay. The room was nice and we enjoyed the hotel bar (the service there was great).

This hotel stay was by far the best out of all the hotel experiences in Germany, and well it should be as it was a bit of a splurge for me since it was my last day in Germany. I was very pleased with everything, from the check in process, to the quality of the room, and especially with the feast that was spread out for breakfast in the morning. The staff were friendly and warm, they stored our luggage and lent us umbrellas when we needed it. As it was December, the hotel lobby welcomed guests with free spiced wine and cookies, a great thing to come back to the hotel to! The room overall was very spacious, and actually had a king sized bed that was not two beds pushed together, unlike many other hotels in Europe. The mattress was decently firm, pillows were soft but not too soft, seemed like it had good fill. The bathroom included a overhead rain shower with good water pressure and consistent hot water, and included little bottles of shampoo, body wash, body milk and a tube of hair mask, no conditioner. Breakfast was something to look really forward to, I'd never seen such a spread! I was particularly impressed with a "wall" of loose leaf tea and the honey comb set that was put out for guests to put real honey into their meals. The only thing to note is it does seem a bit far from the city center, it'll be a bit of a walk compared to other hotels but that wasn't a problem for me. Overall, a wonderful stay and though it was only for one night, I wish it was for more.
