Marigot Bay Resort and Marina

The resort is gorgeous! Would stay again. The people were very nice. Only a few things need to be improved. There is rarely any pool towels out at either pool. You constantly have to ask staff to get some. Check in was very slow. We had to wait 4 hrs to get our room. They couldnt tell us when it would be ready.

The property was excellent in general, but the beach area was 2 star not 5 and massive improvements are needed.

Honestly exceeded our expectations! We ended our honeymoon here after going on a sailboat for two nights and it felt like the royal treatment! So thoughtful, and so many good touches. I wish we stayed there longer. There was a washer dryer in our room an amazing comfy king bed a personal hot tub- it was the works!

I would avoid this place. The pictures look real nice online, but a few things to note. First, staff at check-in was extremely friendly, but then it went downhill real fast. We go to have lunch and they forgot to bring over a chicken sandwich and the service at lunch was terrible. The thing was they looked like they were overstaffed too, so what were all those people doing. Then there was the issue of the stray cat begging for food at everyone's table - who wants to deal with that. After lunch we thought we would go to the lower pool just to relax. We go down and there were finished plates and drinks all over the place - gets back to the staff, what were they doing. They clearly don't have people picking up the place. Then we go to grab towels to sit on the chairs and there were not any. How are there no towels by the pool - unreal. Thankfully we were just staying 1 night. Next morning we had told many people and it was on our reservation what time the bags should get picked up - well we had to call the front desk to have someone pick them up. What is the point of noting what time you want the bags picked up if no one is going to come anyway. Oh last thing, we had the hotel arrange car service to the airport and the car breaks down on the way there! Needless to say we won't be back.

Staff staff staff!! Our PAs, Sara and Chris were super friendly and very helpful - thank you guys!! All staff was very nice, we felt very welcomed at Marigot Bay Resort and Marina. Also the yoga and meditation instructor, Jay (sorry, not sure of the spelling) was very knowledgeable, positive and encouraging. I think I might pick up meditation after the session we had with him! Overall very nice, clean and welcoming resort with great people, awesome breakfast and cool amenities. Thank you all :) Olga and Frank :)

The staff was great. Very accommodating and made you feel like they cared about your needs during the vacation.
