Mercure Hotel Potsdam City

It was fine. Bathroom was a little strange since there was no door. But fine when by myself.

My stay at the Mercure Potsdam wan not that confortable. Room services stopped at night. No enough room to hang clothes since no cupboard is available.

Right opposite train station so great location

Stayed 5 nights. Staff members are very attentive and helpful. Buffet breakfast was delightful, with a wide choice of options. The building towers above the rest of the surrounding area, so the view is very nice. Conveniently close to the train station and public transport.

Great view from 14 th Floor.Clean room apart from smelly shower - drain l tkink. Pretty basic room for the money

Excellent stay in a great location.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years and this was a rather surprising experience. When I tried to pay for dinner at their restaurant (where I had eaten many times before!) by charging my room, I was denied because they told me that I should have a card given to me at check-in, which would show that I had my CC on file with them. I had already my CC on file, but I never got this card. Next day when I checked with the reception, they told me that everything was fine and I do not need this magic card to charge to my room...? The room was very noisy too, several of the neighbors were noisy and the windows are not keeping the street noise out, so I was working all afternoon to the tunes of a merry-go-round that was ~100 m away. The only reason I stay at this hotel is the location, proximity to my meeting venue, but in a future trip I will request a room not facing the main road. With some luck, the merry-go-round will not be there again either.

The hotel was in a very nice location. very clean. bathroom was a bit small.

Close to the train station, close, but not too much, to the tourist attractions.
