Lovely hotel, very clean, huge bed-room,very nicely decorated. Lovely roof top terrace,very peaceful and quiet. (No bar). The only negatives: For such a lovely room, the bathroom was so small, it felt like it was an after thought. Also, we ate in the restaurant at night, the food was ok, but we were overcharged and before my husband could look at the bill,we were rushed in to paying and encourage to pay a certain tip. We should have insisted on time to pay but we felt under pressure and uncomfortable. Felt very silly the next morning, wished we’d stood our ground and asked for more time, felt it was too late by then. Would stay in the hotel again, but by strolling about, down little alley ways, there are some wonderful restaurants. The waitress at breakfast certainly made up for how we felt about their evening meal, she was always happy, polite and helpful.( she had blonde hair).

Venice at the Rialto :-)
We had a wonderful stay at the Rialto . Could not fault a single thing . The staff were exceptionally helpful in all departments. Answering any queries. Breakfast is of a continental style with a variety of hot food items eg bacon. Selection or fruits and pastries and was always plentiful and of a very good quality. The location is superb and I think probably one of the best in Venice . At the foot of the Rialto bridge, with shops and restaurants on your doorstep. An added bonus is that the hotel has a panoramic terrace where you can sit and have a prime view of the Grand Canal , you can bring your own food and drink which is as lovely. The room we had didn’t have a canal view but it was great. One of the few hotels we’ve stayed on where you have fresh bed linen every day. Our roof was of a Venetian style, really lovely with wooden beams and Venetian furniture . I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking a prime location, good service and a relaxing holiday

Great location but expected more for the cost
We had a one bedroom apartment (606) overlooking the grand canal and Rialto Bridge. No issue with the location or the view. The lift went to the floor below and we had 17 steep stairs to climb with our luggage. The room description said separate entrance with stairlift. We never saw the stairlift in operation the whole time we were there 6 nights. Being an apartment I expected a full kitchen and washing machine. On checking the room description no laundry was mentioned. There was a coffee maker which was too complicated for us. We asked for an electric kettle which was supplied. Also microwave and small fridge. No cooking items ie plates, bowls, cutlery etc. There is also a dining table and chairs but again not sure when you would actually use them. Wardrobe next to kitchen and no good for hanging long clothes. It was listed as a one bedroom however one of the 2 sliding doors was broken so you couldn’t completely separate both rooms. The broken door was known to staff when we said we couldn’t close it. The restaurant staff were excellent and made you feel very welcome. Ample food choices available. Cleaning also to a very high standard. We used the panoramic terrace which was lovely and took our own refreshments as we enjoyed the view. Given what we paid for our room $1000 a night and the most I have ever paid I did expect more.

Great Hotel and wonderful city
We were in Venice for 4 nights to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. First of all, the city is amazing. The hotel’s staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoy our stay in this hotel and we took lunch twice in his restaurant. The hotel is great: perfect situation, clean, and Delicious breakfast. We strongly recommend Rialto Hotel for your stay in Venice! You never regret this hotel.
