Wittelsbacher Hof Swiss Quality Hotel

Excellent location. Spacious rooms. Great breakfast. The hotel has implemented strict measures with regard to coronavirus which made me feel comfortable -- masks, buffet behind plexiglass, hand sanitizer throughout the hotel. This is very important for safe travel this summer!

Great location. Wonderful food. Staff is kind and incredibly helpful. I will definitely stay again on another trip. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and the city.

I've stayed here before and returned. It looked like there was some improvement work put in since I stayed here 2 years ago so I was deligted with my stay. Very central in the area with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great!

Nice hotel located within easy walking distance of the station and good value for money. The room was definitely in need of updating and looked nothing like the photos on the website. On the plus side the breakfast was very good.

Great service, and I loved that the hotel gave me a full package of sightseeing information at check-in; this was very helpful. Convenient location in the center of town. Very comfortable room.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. They really went above and beyond with service. This hotel is well worth the stay, if for nothing else but the staff. They were very helpful answering questions and sending us out in the right direction. My wife’s birthday was during our stay. When we went to breakfast, the waitress brought her a surprise birthday cake. Very considerate and shows their attention to the comfort of their guests. The room was dated and well worn, but was clean and comfortable.

The stay was overall pleasant with decent rooms and a good breakfast. Check in was rather confusing and we experienced an unfriendly hotel owner who was busy on the phone when we arrived and seemed bothered to welcome us and also saying good by at check out. The remaining staff was friendly and helpful. One room was better than the other in regards to comfort. The sauna area was excellent and great to use. The breakfast was plenty and of great variety, the eggs were excellent. Overall a pleasant stay but I have stayed in many other hotels in the area and would probably not stay there again.

Reception staff very rude, when I asked to change my room at the back of the hotel because of noise they said I have to pay €30.00 for each night, hotel furniture very old not even worth 2 stars, carpet and room furniture very very old and the bed not comfortable at all there is no air conditioning in the room had to open the windows as temperatures hit 27 and 28 and my room was on the main road and could not sleep at night because of noise even if I close windows, very old doors with old fashioned typical key from the 60s, it’s not worth the rate that I paid at all far too much for the hotel conditions and I still had to pay €6.00 per night as tax although I paid all the taxes on top of the rate, it was a very bad experience very rude reception no smile at all .

Great location - within walking distance of the centre of Garmish and the main Train Station. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Dining area was very inviting, bright and decorated with interesting paintings and period furniture. Breakfast offering was excellent. Staff, both front desk and dining room staff could not have been more helpful or courteous. Thank you. I only stayed one night - but wish it was for longer. Garmish is a beautiful place.

Perfect location. Walking distance to town AND skiing.
