Disappointed reservation not honored.
I booked and paid for 2 nights but was unable to check in due to medical reasons. Upon arrival the next day my reservation was cancelled. I was not refunded for the second day. Hotels.com says it's the property's discretion but the property said they never got paid. Someone got the money. Even though the reservation was guaranteed and paid for I am out 2 nights that was paid for. I just requested the 1 night credit as I missed the first night stay.
Where in the world do you pay for something and show up and the reservation is not honored and no one takes responsibility. Horrible on the property and hotels.com
My advice is to breakup bookings into smaller chunks so if you happen to be unable to make check in at least the entire stay is not cancelled and not refunded.
