Clean and neat
Everything was shut down due to COVID-19 but still a great experience. Lobby and room were very clean. Able to walk around hotel and watch a movie with my kids in the lobby - got the couch to ourselves!

The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and safe. Our first assigned room was next door to a family with kids and we needed a quieter spot, so we requested the front desk for a change and they obliged. in addition, we needed a late checkout, since our son had an 8 hour exam at the testing center next door and they approved it without a fuss! The room was clean and very comfortable.

Shower controls were installed off-center, and didn't work well, light fixtures were poorly designed. Not a bad hotel, but definitely not what I expect from Marriott.

Cons-Pool, fitness center and restaurant closed. Had to call and ask for room service as no housekeeper made rounds the whole time we were there. No free Netflix as advertised you have to sign in. No Bathtub In the bathroom which I called and asked specifically for, just a shower. We ran out of toilet paper. The trash cans are literally three inches wide and MAYBE a foot tall, not very accommodating for a family of four. Stains were on the sheets. The king suite does not look like the one pictured. Pro- Decent area of Lansing.

Courtyard in Lansing.
The advertisement stating they provide shuttle service to the airport is not true. That information should be removed. Had to take a taxi to the airport. As well as no food available for guests is not a good situation either.

Service was really slow at check in and ordering food/drinks. No urgency, the worker took orders then went in back for 20 min before even starting the orders
