Klopfenstein Inn and Suites

Served my needs of a one night stay very well!

Checking in took a little bit longer than I am used to, but the attendant was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and during this hot summer, the air conditioning in the room worked fast. It was a quiet location, and met our needs for a family visit. My only complaint is that the mattress was a little hard, but that is a preference.

Rooms were clean, great location. Only down fall, if it rains at all pool closed all day.

I stayed at this property because of the rating. There were not many and those left were positive. I was disappointed with how outdated it was, especially the rusted pieces in the bathroom. The carpet in the hallway was stained, havoc system was impossible to control, the bed scarf was still being placed on the beds (... concern during the pandemic). At least the room was clean. I will be weary of using non chain brands after this experience.

Convenient location easy access, quiet.

1. Check in was supposed to be open until 10p. We arrived at 9:45 and everything was shut down. I had to call and wait to get let in after a long day on the road. 2. The entrance door we were told to go to to get to our room wouldn’t unlock with our key. Again I had to call. When she opened it she said yeah, I know we have been having issues with that lock. 3. The room we got in smelled like something had been burnt so I called again and she came down and said, oh yeah, the air conditioner malfunctioned earlier, so she moved us to a different room. This one the air conditioner didn’t even turn on. By now we were extremely tired and hot. Finally the last room which wasn’t the room style we choose, nor was it an upgrade, had air that worked. 4. Aside from the room changing and everything mentioned above, there was not even a grab and go breakfast, no coffee, the room had cobwebs on the desk and the towels were paper thin. Our room rate was $88. We could have gone to the Hampton for the same price and had a much better experience.

Look like new. I guess it was remodeled? Several entrances gives close parking to rooms.

From the moment we entered it was beautiful! The front desk person was so sweet and the room was comfortable and clean! This is a gem of a place you have here! 10/10 would total recommend!!
