The hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance of many of the main sites in the Historical Center. The staff are friendly and helpful. A couple caveats… if you are in room 8, there is a lot of road noise at all times of the day and night. The floors are very creaky.

A great stay!!
This hotel was absolutely amazing. It was stepping back in time but with comfort and great service. The breakfast included was so delicious with fresh fruit, fruit juices, eggs, pastries and delicious coffee, and served to our table. All the men who worked the front desk helped in whatever information, taxi needs, extras we needed. Thank you Hotel San Francisco de Quito!!

All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. All of my needs were met. They went above and beyond. Breakfast was fresh and delicious everyday. The staff arranged for taxi’s and guided me to restaurants. Simply outstanding and I look forward to a return visit.

One of the five oldest hotels in Quito. If you prefer historic properties this is a good choice. The rooms are quaintly dated and very clean. There is an excelkent view of the city from their rooftop terrace. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.
