Keep looking
Disappointing for an all-inclusive resort, definitely did not feel like a 5 stars. The most annoying thing was the fact you can only go to the restaurants 5 times, no matter how long your stay. And good luck booking them without agreeing to go through a selling session for hotel membership. There are better beaches in the region. I would not go back.

I have been robbed there. My case is not the only one case, there are a lot of guests who lost their money in a very veird circumstances. Rooms are dirty, very poor English knowledge of hotel stuff. The food is ok but only ok- not really Dominican, the fruits are sour and unripe- I expected by that location fruits would taste amazing and it is like that but not in this hotel. The waiters didn’t react on questions or forgot about my orders several times. Hotel which allows to robber their guest shouldn’t have 5 starts.

THE PERFECT SERANADE PUNTA CANA
First time at the Serenade Punta Cana. This is a newer hotel and you can see it was very well planned with everything they did. I liked it becaue it was smaller in size, i did not have to take tram car to get to the beach or the buffett. Check in was easy and quick, i asked for an upgrade and was given a beautiful suite with two bathrooms and one bedroom with a pull out couoch bed. The food was excellent, Breakfast lunch and dinner.I had the pleasure of meeting Joandel Cayetano, he was always there for all of us, making sure are drinks were always refilled. Just a perfect helper to all of us. Also Yandys Guerrero and Pelagia Ramirez. Both again very helpful i never had to ask for anything they were always right there. Pebel and Freddy made sure we had everything we needed and cant forget Pedito Rosa .The Captain Victor and Hostess Soribel made sure everything in the buffet ran smoothly. They have a beautiful theater were we saw some good shows. I just wish they would get the theater Air conditioned as it would be warm in side.. We were there for Hollowen and the hotel was decorted so nice. They even had a little haunted house for the kids...All the pools were nice, great water park, and the beach my favotie of all. Very few waves and always chairs to find. This is a beautiful hotel perfect for relaxing, and nce for kids. Hopefully i will return soon. Thank you to all the people that work there you were all great.

Amazing
The resort was beautiful. Housekeeping came everyday and cleaned our rooms. We went to the spa and even upgraded our stay to gold. Our concierge Marcos was amazing. We will be back in the near future

DO NOT book for a one night stand
Overall, very mediocre experience with this hotel. waiters for the most part very nice and helpful, management has a lot of room for improvement. my main concern is that there is no info about restaurant booking at all and if you reserve this place today for today, you cant make a reservation for the restaurants... and despite all our attempts explaining guest services that we made a booking today and staying just for one night did not help at all. Buffet was so-so at the most. rooms where very smelly and drain issues was at every tub and sink. we travel at least once a month and stay at quite a few hotels in DR and this is the only one where I feel like wasting my time and express my opinion, all previous experience where just a straight 5 star!

Beautiful property! Food was hit or miss, the buffet is mediocre but Japanese was fantastic and The Cut was excellent, as well. The beach is lovely but the vendors walking around and continually trying to sell something is a lot to deal with. We got ripped off by one but lesson learned. Our swim up suite was great and the bars are generous with their libations. Overall a beautiful place.

The biggest disappointment was the Buffet being one of your only options to eat if you don’t make dinner reservations which is impossible to make being all inclusive. Buffet Food was cold. The steak house dining chicken was hard so i could only imagine how the steak would’ve been. Only dining that was worth going to was the Japanese restaurant which was hard to get reservation. The other dining options we could not get reservations being forced to eat at the buffet. But the beach and swimming pool was nice along with the bars. If the dining options were more available i would give it a better rating.

I liked that it was clean and very easy to order drinks. I also likes that some of the staff was attentive and profesional. However, we had a terrible experience. The resort itself is 3 stars. The food selection was not top tier. They had many selections but it wasn’t prepared at a 4 to 5 star level. The food was actually my least concern. My wife and I had a disagreement which was eventually deescalated by a few female managers, which I really appreciate. However before our disagreement was deescaleted, my wife brought her concerned to male staff. In the midst of our disagreement, there was a male staff member in our room as I was trying to make peace with my wife and his name was Edwin. He took it upon himself to grab my arm while I was trying to make peace with my wife encouraging her to leave me alone at the property. This man grabbed my arm so hard that I still have dark bruises more than a week later. There was no reason for him to grab me as all I was doing was talking to my wife. It took everything in me not to react to him. I will never again visit this resort and I don’t recommend that anyone visits there. There are over 100 resorts in this country with much better entertainment, food selection and more beautiful beaches.

First trip to the Dominican Republican Republic and the Serenade Hotel. A very nice very clean hotel set on a white sand beach which is well maintained very well daily. We always go All Inclusive the last few times to Jamaica. Here is the main difference. Staff in Jamaica always seem ti be having fun and can’t do enough to make your holiday fun. Staff at the Serenade it all seems like too much trouble they just look miserable all day long. There are exceptions though, Massiela in the lobby bar. Blandino, Jose at the pool bar and Jonathan in the sport bar all score top marks for service with a smile. The restaurant food was good overall. Highlight was the Teppenyaki restaurant, always good variety in the buffet bar. There are 2 tasting restaurants but you have to pay extra for these which is a bit naughty when you say AI it should mean AI. All in all a good holiday but when I am spending this much I would choose Jamaica first the staff and no extra hidden charges.
