Great looking venue but......
Its a few years since we last used this hotel and the reasons we found alternative hotels for the last few years soon became apparent.
Food is poor both in quality and choice with service in the restaurant slightly better than this but still not great.
Breakfast is very poor value unless you want a full cooked breakfast with all the trimmings, £18.50!!! I should have challenged that one for a bowl of cereal and a pastry that had seen better days.
Rooms are fine and staff on the whole helpful but the bar was tired and in need of updating as are most of the communal areas.
What was once an impressive hotel is now a shadow of its former self.
Beautiful setting but we wont be returning in a hurry,
