It was okay for the price. No elevator, the drink machine didn’t work on our floor and no sign was posted.
Very dated and not the cleanest you see on the website
Older hotel, Looks like they are updating, guests had no consideration for others, staff was pleasant and helpful with issues.
Clean but a bit out-dated, feels a little old. Seemed like they were taking the necessary Covid precautions.
Floors, in both our room and in the hallway, were sticky and filthy. The bathtub had a ring around it. Food and milk were left by previous guest(s) in the refrigerator; smelled terribly as soon as the door was opened. A man we assume was the manager the following morning was very rude to us, as well as five other guests. We followed the signs in the hallway to the conference room for the continental breakfast. Two couples were seated across the room from each other; much further than six feet apart. The breakfast was nearly impossible; it was nonexistent! There was cereal, but the milk pitcher was empty. The apple juice, orange juice, and coffee were all empty, as well. That left spotted bananas and oranges. The frumpy, disheveled manager came in and began ordering everyone out of the room because of COVID-19. A guest told him they were practicing social distancing and he replied he was following the health director's orders. The same guest told him he was certain everyone at in a public restaurant the night before and sat much closer together. Another guest notified him of all the empty containers. He snapped, "We'll take care of that, but everyone needs to get out of here. You'll have to eat in your rooms". I'm not certain how he meant for us to get breakfast or why there were tables and chairs set up to begin with in the room, if no one was allowed at them. No gloves provided either. 14 days in all New England states; this was our ONLY bad experience!
Tub had hair in it walls had scuff marks and bed frame sounded like I was about to break
They canceled the reservation without notifying us. The cleaning staff left and there was no one to clean and turnover the rooms. We arrived at 12am to find the room canceled. The whole area was booked. Drive 4 hours back home until 4am
Horrible experience. Walls not insulated could hear everything. Very hard to sleep doors constantly slamming throughout night. No elevator and was on 3rd floor with handicapped girlfriend.
1. Wood laminated floors: you can hear every step everyone makes on the entire floor. 2. Doors: they simply do not shut without being slammed, because either the building has settled resulting in crooked door frames or poor installation. You can therefore hear every door being slammed all day and night long. Horrible. 3. Half rooms are very outdated - it's like being transported into 1987. The other half are more updated - about 2000-2008. 4. Breakfast: no good. Poor selection even for a continental. 5. Service: regular service members are reasonably nice and professional. Manager has a huge chip on his shoulder and horrific unpleasant used car salesman attitude. 6. Bed was comfortable. 7. Location: close to main attractions, but on a noisy street: traffic will wake you every morn. 8. Found 2 critters on our pillow in the middle of the night (probably too small for roaches, but from that family.) 9. You will hear everything your neighbors say and do on both sides - walls are paper thin. 10. Only 3 floors, so not a huge deal, but no elevators.
The room was very average. It was clean enough but the hotel has no amenities and is on a busy road. Location is pretty convenient.
