Residence Inn by Marriott Atlanta Cumberland/Galleria

The rate was higher than I usually pay, but I wanted extra amenities and free parking. I arrived and was told the internet was down. The clerk make record of how much I paid online to Expedia. She then claimed there was a parking fee of $10/night. I disagreed. The next morning, another clerk told me my card was on file and would be charged for the room plus tax. I disagreed again. Happy to be gone. Never returning.

This was the most disgusting hotel I’ve stayed at. Dirty and run down. We had to pack up and leave in the middle of the night due to parties and noise levels. The unit was dirty.

The property was very run down. The room was not clean. Very disappointed!

Everything was great with the exception of a lot of summer ants that got inside the room, the hotel did semd someone in to spray though

Overall good stay. Comfortable, very clean and clean smelling room upon check in. Cleaning service limited due to Covid, but questionable about the process. We emptied garbages, but really no where to put trash bags. But we were able to get supplies, dishwasher packs, towels, etc upon need at the desk. Pool area open which we were grateful for. Traveling with multiple families for baseball tournament. We plan team meals and we had rain a couple of nights. The hotel allowed us to use the meeting space for our meal set up. So very accommodating! A few repairs are in need... the beautiful gas grill on the patio is not working. Some of the room doors did not open or close without some difficulty. Ample laundry facilities. Great location near Braves ballpark, restaurants, shopping and groceries. But staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs.

It felt like a home experience rather than a hotel. Love the fire place my favorite. Very good experience and would recommend it to anyone.

I liked the space. It was great for my family. I wasn’t happy with the front desk supervisor. I asked for a late checkout and we agreed on 1 pm. The housekeeper came on checkout at 11:00 unaware of the late checkout. On Saturday I received a call from the front desk supervisor that I still had my things in the room and i was suppose to checkout. I wasn’t suppose to check out until the next day. When I checked in and going to the room, two men came out of their room as I was headed to my room and they were actively smoking marijuana. I went back to the front desk and asked to be moved and they moved me. I didn’t feel safe at that location.

Hotels.com said free parking but it actually cost $10. I called and they gave me a credit. Check in was quick and easy. Front desk employee was very nice. Room looked clean when walked in but quickly was attacked by fleas. ALL OVER MY LEGS. Again, front desk employees were quick to switch my room and apologetic. New room didn’t have fleas BUT all 3 towels were dirty. 1st towel had a large hair ball on it folded in nicely. 2nd towel had something that looked like poop on it. Again, folded on the towel rack. 3rd towel just looked dirty like it was used and folded and put back. I will never stay at the property again.
