San Augustine deserve better
Only one poor employee on Thanksgiving Day. The room, which had two towels and a cockroach, had nothing else. A coffee service without a coffee maker, the floor so dirty that we had to clean it ourselves. The second day, an employee was sometimes there and grumpy with other guests (I smiled at her and she was nice to me). Maybe a bad weekend, but I prefer to try other hotels on my next trip.

Terrible experience, the worst hotel I have visited in 40 years, that should not be classified as a hotel, dirty rooms, stained sheets, bathroom with hair, terrible smell of dirt and humidity, disgusting common areas, it seems like people live there and dogs urinate on the door of your room, old and stained towels, in short, the worst experience of my life, in addition to arriving at 6 in the afternoon and my room was not ready, the people who are around the hotel have a lot to be desired, in short, if you do not want to have a very long description, do not go to this hotel

Noone was available for check in, the phone number that was posted at the door went straight to voicemail. I was forced tk seek other accommodations. I like to be refunded for the inconvenience you've caused. This is unacceptable behavior and lack of hospitality.

We had many issues with this hotel. They never cleaned our rooms, we stayed a week and not once did they change the sheets. Every time we needed assistance from the receptionist they were never to be found and the number to call nobody answered . We did new reservations for the following week and we didn’t get clean rooms We had to wait 3 hours after check in to be able to go in and they were still not clean. They also asked for deposit for rooms that weren’t clean . I do not recommend this hotel at all. We’ve never experience anything bad like this before.

The first room they gave us was horrible. There were hairs everywhere, including in the freezer, the toilet seat was broken, and the room was not cleaned very well at all. The second room still wasn't all that clean and even had a cigarette butt on top of the microwave. The beds are hard as a rock so my back was hurting and I kept tossing and turning all weekend. There were so many people who were living there and they would come out and smoke a cigarette and throw the butts everywhere. The property was disgusting and the pool area was not inviting at all. The people who lived there with dogs would not pick up the poop either. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT A GOOD VACATION!!!!

When I arrive at the property I was advised of a $100 deposit in which I was never aware of when I booked the property online. The staff that checked me in was so rude and pretty much didn’t show any type of customer service towards a guest. Finally got into my room and there were no towels or wash cloths. I had to call and request the lady at the front desk to bring in. There were also no toilet paper and luckily I had my own wipes but I had to reach out to the front office again to request. I was awaken from a lady beating on my door asking when was my check out! Very unprofessional because you guys should already know that! Overall I was not happy my stay here at all. Especially with what I paid to stay here as well as the property asking for a $100 deposit!! I mean if your requesting my money and a deposit at least ensure that the hotel is accommodating.

Both Andrew and the gal in charge (sorry I forgot your name again!) were so helpful to me during my stay. They answered all my questions and made the experience very comfortable. I knew I could count on them whenever necessary. They gave me telephone numbers to call if I needed anything 24/7. Construction is ongoing at the property and I hope it continues to be updated with more amenities in the near future.

Tried out this for the 1st time!
Bed is not comfy. Watch out of the lip of concrete in places of walking … it’s a trip hazard. There is a big one at the front of the hotel room, too. Just not accustomed to a platform bed with No Comfort! My back hurts after less than 5 hours of sleep.
