Homewood Suites by Hilton Gaithersburg/ Washington, DC North

I loved this hotel. I had a King suite with a full kitchen. I initially planned to stay for 2 nights and move to another hotel closer to family, but I ended up extending my stay 3 more nights. Besides the beautiful room, the staff was fantastic! They were always very helpful and attentive. One note - the laundry is free to use, but bring your own detergent - the stuff they sell is expensive. There's a Weiss Market and a Costco across the street if you need to buy something. Also, the dryers seem to take a long time for even a minimal load, so be prepared to wait 2+ hours for your laundry to complete.

Room was run down for a Hilton hotel! See pictures. Also they charged 125 for my small Terrier lap dog to stay one night! More than the cost of me and my family!!! They are not “pet friendly”! They claimed it was to clean the room afterwards - then they should start cleaning the rooms in the first place. I would recommend hiring cleaning staff and seriously review their pet policies!

Great stay - very nice - love all the room! And they let me keep my pet with me. He loved it as well. Would not hesitate to stay here again whenever I am in the area.

In general is a good place to stay My family and me love our staying in other home woods suites specially for cleanliness but this one could be better they have a nice location and a nice suites design but the furniture is already old couches look dirty also cleaning crew is not doing a good job when I was desinfecting I can smell an weird odor I found a huge trash bag under the sink stinks horrible a diapers bag as well and looked like they had been there for weeks luckily I found one of the housekeeper around and she very nice help me to clean she was surprised because she said a supervisor has to check the rooms before guess come in also the guy who has the afternoon and night shift in front desk is rude and unhelpful

Had to stay here for a week while my house was being shown for sale. Staff was very friendly, pet friendly was a plus, and the rooms were modern. Would recommend to anyone in who needs a suite stay.

It was a decent stay. There were some negatives, as the fan in the bathroom didn’t work and when I came out everything was dripping from the steam. All of my belongings. There was also hair in the shower that was not mine.... and the stovetop would not turn off. Had to turn it off from the circuit box. Other than that, everything was pleasant. Staff was nice, the rest of the room was clean.

Thermostat didn’t work in the room. Long wait at the front desk. Room is well appointed and clean but bathroom had some mold and wear and tear. Used to be a favorite.

Room was clean and a great size. The kitchen had dishes, pots and other things we needed to make our stay comfortable. Will stay again when i go.

First off booked rooms for 2 days price went down tried to call to get the difference for rate change app didn’t work and when I called they couldn’t do it either . Very stressful also had to change r both my rooms because ac didn’t work and one of the tvs didn’t work and they could fix the issues. Very bad stay hallways were blazing hot ac kept cutting off. Water damage on ceiling with paint falling off the wall. Def wasn’t worth my 319.00 I paid won’t stay again

Worst experience at high end hotel evet!!!! 5 day reservation in a suite at 179 per night. Poorly treated by staff, multiple issues with front desk staff, discourteous treatment. Stunned at the horrible guest experience! Will NEVER book there again. Avoid at all cost!
