During my stay, the hotel staff provided us with a letter on our door that said that there was a severe weather warning. They said that due to this warning, they would be closing down the pool and all of the outdoor restaurants which left us with no form of entertainment, and only one dining option. I looked up the severe weather warning, and could not find anything about it. They said that they would be shutting down the pool and outdoor restaurants for 48 hours, which is crazy because that was half of my trip. They removed all the pool chairs and the beach chairs and give us towels to prevent people from going in the pool and the ocean, even though there was absolutely no wind or rain. On the second day, they realized that this was silly and brought towels out again, which we had to lay on the ground at the side of the pool. All the dining options were outdoor or open air. There was never a bartender by the pool bar, so I had to constantly get out of the pool and walk to the lobby bar to get a drink. It took a very long time to get anyone to order a drink.
