Eldorado Hotel & Spa

Unfortunately, due to the social isolation requirements during the COVID19 pandemic, this hotel, in which I have stayed so many times in the past, now shared the ghostly appearance of all of Santa Fe. We hope to return in better times.

Great hotel terrific staff. Too bad they still allow smoking, esp. by the pool, really detracted from being able to enjoy it.

We really appreciate the nice welcoming attitude of everyone...Front desk, bag handler, technician, & maid...the room was very inviting and quite comfortable...quick to attend to any of our needs... The restaurant and bar are very welcoming to guest.

Amazing staff. Friendly and informative during every interaction. Great place to relax and stroll around downtown. Definitely would come back

Great location with plenty of parking and easy walking distance from Plaza etc. Spacious and very comfortable room. However, limited dining (no breakfast) due to Covid.

Beautiful remodeled hotel that was elegant & clean. Location was perfect as it was near the town square & points of interest like the old chapels & shopping in small art shops.

Our stay feel short on almost every level. First, Prior to COVID, I travel extensively for work and personal spending approach 150 nights in a hotel a year. Secondly, I never complain. We arrived at 6:20 PM and waited to be greeted by valet or the bell hop. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Went inside to check in and was told our suite wasn’t ready yet but to go park in the city parking garage across the street and bring our luggage to the lobby. Asked for help and was told they couldn’t offer it due to COVID. Was provided 1 complimentary drink ticket. Why one when there are two guests? We passed, given we aren’t going to head to the bar with all our luggage. Waited in the lobby for 30 minutes for our room after watching another 15 or so guests check in, I returned to the counter to see what other options we could consider. A new gentleman, Conner was fantastic and offered to put us in another room and credited us the resort fee for the night. We were grateful. Wish this would have met Conner sooner. Finally got to our room at 7:10. Room was decent. Clean and fairly comfortable. We are located on the 2nd floor by the game deck. The first night, the hotel wifi wasn’t working and our AC didn’t work. So on par for the stay. Normally, we would just open a window given the crisp air outside, but wasn’t able to keep our door open given people have full access directly to our patio/room. The hotel’s location is good & the lobby is nice. Unfortunately, the our stay was not.

Everything from the restaurant to the rooftop pool to the front desk staff and concierge was amazing - highly recommend!! A must for a stay in Santa Fe.

Absolutely loved the hotel. Great customer service by Connor and Bennie. Wonderful location. Great pool area. Rooms were lovely. Next time I’m getting one with a fireplace.

Everyone was very nice. And wearing masks.
