Worthy of a second trip
The suite was nice. Due to COVID no amenities were available which was expected but still disappointing. The cafe was nice. I wish the bistro at least offered the menu to go (very limited).

It was not disclosed the pool was not in service. They said it was Expedia’s fault for not saying it. The showers if you are taller then 5’6, you will have to kneel to shower!

We just came back from Newport and stayed at Courtyard by Marriott. It was a very disappointing experience. Both outdoor and indoor pools were closed, no cleaning services in the room due to state restrictions due Corona virus! The hotel across the street and the other hotel we’ve stayed in after, both had all amenities available!!! When you travel with family and little kids, it was very inconvenient! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT for this expensive and nothing special hotel room!

Love Marriott hotels. Unfortunately our AC unit was not working in our room and there were no other room available. This made for a terribly uncomfortable night. We were given two fans but that did not do the trick. Very disappointed, slept horrible, was so looking forward to a great break from all this Covid-19.

I understand that we are going through a pandemic; however, it would have been nice if the hotel and Expedia communicated with each other regarding amenities. No gym, no pool/hot tub, no bar, no daily house keeping. Other hotels had their pools open; we could see them from driving around the island, so why was ours closed? And for the price we paid, I was very disappointed.

I wish we knew that the pool wasn’t working in advance but we really had a great time during our stay. Staff were friendly and super responsive and helpful. We would recommend it to everyone.

The pool was closed..all pools in the area were open. Nobody emptys the garbage. No blow dryer or coffee in room..you need to go get an ice bucket
