Run down and beat up
What an awful stay. I haven’t stayed at the Rio for a few years, but this was the absolute worst Vegas stay in a long time. The place is so disgustingly run down… there are tiles missing from the walls and floors, our room was disgusting with towels that were frayed and stained, and the bed was awfully soft on one side and firm on the other. I’m mortified that I chose this to celebrate my husband’s birthday. What a FLOP.

Overall a good hotel & casino with many amenities. The room was spacious, clean, with a great view, but a little worn out around the edges. Hide-a-bed had a large stain on a tired mattress. Given the rate I had expected excellence.

Outdated Hotel
The room was outdated. We felt like we were staying in a motel and not a hotel. The carpet and furnitures has seen better time. The faucet in the bathroom was coming off the wall. Not excited to stay with this property in the future. Oh and the elevators didnt work. Only 1 out of 4 elevators worked.

Paid for the view
Comps were not mentioned at checkin (dining credits& half off) took over an hour to get checked in. $60.00 resort fee which lists pool access but the pool is closed. Tub head in 27029 needs to be replaced, and should be cleaned better, suite with no microwave…super outdated decor but the space and view was excellent.
