I am reaching out regarding a significant issue with our recent stay at the Bellagio Las Vegas, booked through your platform at a premium rate. This was meant to be a celebratory anniversary trip, but the experience fell far below the standards one would expect from a hotel of this caliber, especially considering the price paid.
Upon check-in, we discovered that our room was in an unacceptable condition—dusty surfaces that you could run your finger through, a dirty bellagio pen(food on it), pubic hair in the bathroom, and blonde hair on the bed (we both have dark hair). These details are not only unhygienic but also deeply disappointing for what was meant to be a once-in-a-lifetime celebration. Despite reporting the issue promptly, it took over 30 minutes for the hotel to address the matter, during which time we were unable to use the room facilities and missed a portion of our planned celebration.
While the Bellagio refunded $75.88 for the resort fee and buffet charge, they have explicitly stated that additional compensation must be pursued through Hotels.com, as the reservation was made via your platform. This minimal refund does not adequately address the distress, inconvenience, and diminished experience caused by the hotel’s subpar service and accommodations.
