The Collective Canary Wharf

Práctico y funcional para estancias largas de 1 semana o más. No es un hotel al uso; se asemeja a una residencia de estudiantes por los servicios y público. Su valor agregado está en tener cocina con elementos básicos y cercanía al transporte público (DLR) y supermercados. El lugar ha abierto hace poco por lo que todavía está nuevo y su personal está en proceso de formación. En tema transporte, son por lo menos 45 minutos para llegar al centro de Londres. Tener en cuenta que el baño de la unidad estándar es del tamaño de un baño de avión y en el cubículo de la ducha una persona de talla M europea entra con dificultad. No se puede regular la ventilación general climatizada (solo un radiador), por lo que uno termina abriendo la ventana para tener aire fresco (poco ecológico). De todas maneras y si se encuentra una buena oferta, es recomendable para estancias largas. Para una estancia corta de fin de semana no compensa por el tiempo de viaje al centro.

Me gustó la limpieza y el personal. No me gustó la oferta de restauración, desayuno pobre

Cleaner walked into room at 9:20am, tv doesnt work. Other than that room was very stylish.

Was not bad.

I was looking forward to this stay at The Collective, but from arrival the service provided was far from great. From rude behind the counter staff when checking in, to requesting a an additional key for my guest, as well as questions about the services on site. Overall I was not made to feel welcome at this establishment. The room itself is okay. Smaller then shown in pictures. There is also only a small amount of crockery and utensils. The room clearly hasn't been checked thoroughly as there was a lack of toilet roll as well as washing up liquid. The walls were riddled with markings and scratches, the bathroom is tiny!! There is also no way to adjust the temperature of the room. I personally do not think I would stay at this venue again as it was just a bit of a let down. One of the great things are the amenities surrounding this venue which make it extremely easy to sort any wants or needs.

Studio - very small. Ludicrously small shower/bathroom which I had difficulty actually fititng into. Tiniest of desk areas with uncomfortable stools with a seat depth of maybe 4 inches. The inhouse food delivery took the best part of an hour to be delivered - nice quality risotto. Impossible to see TV other than from the bed. Clean

We tried to call the hotel 9 times to see if an early check in was available as if not we would have gone elsewhere first. However as they did not pick up we tried our luck anyway. Unfortunately they couldn’t check us in early which is fine but the way the 1st lady dealt with it was shocking. We asked why no one was picking up the phone (there was two of them on the desk and they didn’t exactly look over worked) she didn’t answer. We asked for an early check in, she responded... ‘check in is at 3’ yes we know it’s at 3 but is there any rooms available now, her response ‘check in is at 3’.. again well aware.. do you have any rooms now ‘check in is at 3’ as we were stood at the desk another lady walked past asking if we needed help, we asked if there was a chance of an early check in and she actually checked the system. She advised no rooms were available snd she apologised, she also offered to take our bags and put them in storage. A much better way to deal with customers. Upon second check in I think her name was Laura, she was lovely and very helpful. The room was cool, on the small side but as expected! Well equipped, qwerky and very clean. The First Lady I believe was an anomaly to the hotel.

Loved the stay, really gorgeous place in the not so hectic part of London and would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends and family! My only very minor downfall Is that the pillows are really high and full so a tight neck the next morning wasn’t great but I can’t fault the place!! Can’t wait to stay again and just bring my own pillow!! Enough supermarkets near for those that prefer cooking, yet not too far at all to all the bars and restaurants!

Lovely stay - pool and rooms are so modern and lovely!! Highly reccomend such a relaxing stay :)

I found the service supplied by both the hotel and hotels.com to be totally unacceptable and as a customer of over 7 years have never been treated as ba as on this occasion, totally unprofessional and the lack of communication was unbelievable
