DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Paradise Valley - Scottsdale

Estupendo

This resort was very nice. I was disappointed that the bar didn't stay open past 8pm. But the service that helped us was nice. Bed a little hard but we really liked the resort. The grounds are beautiful and nice pools!

Beautiful place to stay

The hotel was clean our room was nice ! Because of Covid there was no making the beds or new towel service Had to call front desk for towels or toilet paper and they were very responsive

The wet areas were marginal, the shower had very low water pressure and the fixture was complicated to manage. The sheets and linens in general were what you might find in a cheap motel. The stay was very disappointing.

First of all I never heard of having to pay the full amount upon check in. You usually put a card on hold and are able to pay when leaving with whatever card you want. I booked the hotel but my boyfriend was laying for it. I ran in real quick since we had plans. Not only did he not accommodate letting us out a card on hold he made me run out and get my boyfriends card and then had to physically see my boyfriend and his ID. Just took it way too seriously. Not impressed with this hotel.

The hotel lobby was beautiful and overall the whole outside of the resort. The rooms were outdated and didn’t look as nice as the pictures. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly everyday and housekeeping was very friendly. Valet was only available one time and other times we had to have someone else get our car for us. We even had to park our own car and take the keys to someone.

Front desk clerk was rude

convenient location, clean rooms, restaurant was closed, shower backed up daily :-(

Property has an odd lay out. I'm guessing to maximize the shade. Room numbers are very confusing and finding your room is no easy task. Lots of DARK corners, which is creepy if you are a female staying alone. One of the evening/late night front desk employees was quite rude. She acted like I was bothering her every time I went up there, which was twice in a 6 night stay. Rooms are OK, nothing spectacular. Suites don't come with a microwave, you have to ask for one. Pools were nice but didn't seemed to be skimmed or cleaned out very often. Lots of dirt on the bottom of the pools. Good location.
