We had a single king size bed on the first floor just down from the swimming pool. The hot tub in the room with the pool was not working , had scrap wood around it and mud in bottom of hot tub. In our room the curtains with the pull rods were sheer lace. The heavy curtains on top of that would not even move. The rod they were on had screws in them to keep them from moving and even if they could move the rod channels were not even all the way across the window so anyone could look in the room. Went to front desk to complain and was given a bed sheet and some safety pins to put it up across the opening. Would not even gove me a blanket to use instead of the sheet. Will not stay there again.

Poor service. Arrived at 2pm on a Sunday and was informed by an employee watching TV in the lobby that check in wasn't allowed until after 3PM. Returned about 5 pm and there was a sign at the desk stating employee had gone to the airport. The same employee that had told me that check in wasn't until 3, said i would have to wait until the other employee returned. When I asked why the employee there couldn't help, she stated it wasn't her job and I should complain to the owner if i wasnt happy. The employee did finally check me in after a few minutes waiting for the return of desk agent from the airport. I still am not sure why the first employee wasn't able to complete check-in process right away.

First time I've ever tried to get a refund for a hotel room, and they wouldn't give it. Room was dirty, smelled like wet dog. Lobby carpets were dirty. Hot tub apparently broken for 2 or 3 years. Beds, although listed as Queen, were smaller. Mostly though, management of this individual hotel were so used to getting complaints, so they knew ahead of time that they wouldn't be refunding our stay, because it's just par for their course.

I found myself in a position (delayed flight with a road journey to follow) and needed a hotel close to the airport. Not familiar with Fargo, I booked accommodations at this hotel while waiting in O’Hare airport. The fella at reception was sat back in a chair not eager to offer pleasantries while getting my room cards. With two suitcases and no elevator I made my way up the poorly lit, dingy stairwell. To our nearly $400 room. It was musty and warm, thank goodness the air con worked! The bed was ok, but the bedding was tired, the top sheet yellowed with a thin coverlet to top it off. The tub/tiles need redoing…not once did I feel comfortable in this place. In the morning after my shower I went to iron some clothing…there was no cover on the ironing board…just a metal board was hanging. There it is - not a stellar stay!

Pulling up to the hotel, seeing the outside I instantly got nervous. There is weeds growing in the parking lot. If there wasn’t cars parked there you would think the hotel is closed down. The young man that checked me in was dressed like he was walking around his own home, didn’t look professional at all. Hotel actually charged me twice! There is a nicer hotel literally right behind this one (my friends checked in there) …go to that one instead!

When I pulled up to the property, the parking lot was all cracked with weeds growing up everywhere. The outside lot could sure use some work. I almost didn’t stay there. The room was clean and comfortable , but the breakfast area was not clean, with old oranges and bananas. The area hadn’t been cleaned when I came down at 9 to eat. The motel is understaffed, and the guys at the desk don’t have time to clean up. The staff was very pleasant, and everything in the room worked well.
