Baymont by Wyndham Newark at University of Delaware

Todo fue excelente, me agrado el trato del personal, sobretodo las señoras de la cafetería. La habitación muy limpia.

Upon getting into our hotel room I found a old gummy left in the floor indicating not a great vacuum job. In the bathroom there was hair in the shower. We had to get showers and when we did we pulled the curtain closed to find some type of bug. Not thrilled at all.

Parking lot area had trash,back entrance stairs in need of repair. Trash cans full. Beds not comfortable at all.people were definitely smoking even though nonsmoking hotel. Bathroom not real clean, baseboard coming apart.

You couldn’t control the temperature in the room. I was on the second floor and it always felt hot in the room. Ironing board and hangers missing. The seemed very clean though but it’s a very small room. Also the TV kept announcing every channel change and I couldn’t turn that off. Kind of annoying.

The lobby had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. I'd hoped this was due to the people smoking just outside the entrance but it carried throughout the hallways as if people were smoking in their rooms. It worsened though our stay. The carpets in the hallways were stained in many places. We were also disappointed in the lack of enforcement on the mask policy. Though there were signs to wear masks, we waited behind 2 parties at the front desk not wearing masks, and the staff said nothing to them. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Very disappointed with the stay. As soon as you get off the elevator, there’s a smokey smell. The chair and luggage stand were missing in our room. Worst part was there was a constant drip from the shower faucet, got less than 3 hours of sleep due the noise from the drip. The shower door did not close completely, therefore there was a puddle of water after every shower. When we went to the front desk to ask for more towels to soak up the water puddle, they told us they ran out of towels. Will never stay there again.

It was quiet for the most part no issues I have no complaints

It’s advertised as a non smoking room and it was not. Told front desk but said he was sold out. No remote for tv, went to call front desk and no wire in phone. Went down stairs, got a new remote and wire for phone. Went to turn tv on and still didn’t work, gave up on that. Put the wire in the phone And it worked. The smoke smell was horrible all night. As soon as we woke we were happy to leave. Booked it and thought there would be a grab and go breakfast due to the current situation but nope nothing and no one told us. Definitely will not ever go there again.
