Mercure Hotel Muenchen Airport Aufkirchen

Hotel is very convenient to Munich airport. Good price. Good breakfast buffet. Road noise thru windows though didn’t keep us from sleeping. Very reasonable price. Would stay there again.

The room was roomy and quite clean. The receptionist was very cheery and helped me arrange the shuttle for the next day. I am very satisfied with my experience and will probably spend the night here again in the event of another long Munich layover.

Large room and handy for the airport. Mercure would do well to advise guests that there are TWO Mercure MUC airport hotels..make sure you go to the correct one. I thought the handwritten note on the bottled water informing me that it was 2.95 euro was rather unwelcome! Otherwise, pleasant stay and would go again. Did not try the breakfast.

Not so close to airport so have to use car or taxi. Little resturant next door was great. Breakfast was well appointed and plentyfull

Special request not even acknowledged. Limited free parking. Small shower-if you are heavier than 135 pounds you will find it difficult to move around. I weigh 120 and if you turn around you will change the faucet setting. May be too high of a step for elderly to get into the shower Room requires that you keep your keep engaged in order to have electricity. Front desk should mention this since many people are unaware especially if you are use to B&B's. Church bells do chime every 15 minutes, however, not all night. There is street noise. Not as close to the airport as expected. Good for a stay when coming in our out of Munich. You should have a car. Room could use some repairs, however, they were minor and not really worth a mention.

I just lived the property over all. I found shower amenities from the last guest in the shower stall and hair in the bath tub(im bald). I also had two "room attendants " try to enter my room when i was trying to sleep even with the do not disturb on. I had another "housekeeper " also come to my room with amenities come to my door a minute later.

Good big room, but no air conditioning despite that being on the hotels.com description. It meant having to sleep with a window open, and the village churchbell chimes every 15 minutes. Not, a good combination.

We stayed in a family room with 2 queen beds and the room was very very spacious. We booked the room with breakfast included for an extra 10 euro for the 4 of us and thought the breakfast was outstanding! There were eggs, sausage and beans as well as typical German offerings of meat, cheese and bread. We really enjoyed the hotel and breakfast. Airport was only 15 minutes away and was super convenient.

The room is nice. The drawback: there is no A/C. It’s 15 minutes away from the airport and has a free parking.

On hotels.com it said the mercure hotel had air conditioning in the rooms. It does not. That was the only reason I chose to stay at this hotel that was further away from my destination.
