This hotel was BUSY - the lobby was always full of people which is fine! It's NY! I had a great experience with the front desk but my friend did not (one gentleman was a little rude). If you're a cold person - bring an extra blanket or ask for one upon check in because their covers on the bed are like tissue paper and they do NOT keep a cold person warm (my two friends were perfectly comfortable).

Clean hotel with long lines for everything!
Room was a nice size for a NYC room and it was very clean. Be prepared to stand in lines to check in (close to 40 minutes), to speak to the Concierge (20 minute wait), to use the elevator and to get a coffee (25 minutes). Hotel is in a good walking to most things.

Great Location for a great price
The hotel is perfectly situated a few blocks from Times Square and Central Park. I was able to do a 5-mile run in the park early in the morning and enjoy the theaters at night. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that I can hear much of street noise all evening.
