Food in the bar/resturant was terrible. Ate at the bar for "Wing Wednesday"....that was a mistake. Dry, over cooked....could not eat them they were so dry. With sauce still dry!!! The room was dated but I expected that. Popcorn ceilings, old old furniture and carpet that made you wear something on your feet at all times. It just felt grimy. The best part of stay was Penthouse access to concierge service. Meals offered alot of options and the staff was very helpful and courteous. Best part of my stay.

Further away from downtown Charleston than expected. Be prepared for a 2 mile walk (interesting though & felt safe) or a short Uber ride to/from town. Hotel looks really dated-popcorn ceiling-uneven carpet innroom-dated furniture-honestly felt very expensive. $400 per night. Perhaps it was because there were some major events happening in town that rates were higher. Staff was very friendly though, although would not choose this location again if we came back to Charleston.
