Expedia was going to cancel this reservation because I could not get a reply to my questions for months. Finally, right before we left and Expedia was going to find us another place, the Owner's Daughter (OD) replied, so I kept the reservation - poor communication. But upon arrival to the guest house, the owner spoke English well, coordinated with our tour guides to find the guest house (it's like an Airbnb so wasn't by other hotels and hard to find). Also, the owner gave us a good breakfast each morning even though we left very early most days because of all-day tours - thanks! The only way to get a "warm" shower was to barely turn on the water to get a very small stream of water. As soon as you turned up the pressure, the water was ice cold. There was no heat in the room, so it was freezing every night. You will need ear plugs as it is very noisy. We had to pay for our stay in soles, which owner charged a higher exchange rate than the market dictated, so we paid more than what Expedia showed was due in US dollars.The booking for this guest house said there was free transportation to/from airport, which means free transportation TO and free transportation FROM the airport. To our surprise, OD expected us to pay in soles for transport to the airport after we got to the airport to depart, which we had none of because their listing said it was free. We had to pay in US dollars. Beds/pillows were comfy, and the owner made it worth the stay though. Thank you!
