Good hotel, bad food.
Hotel fine but the food was terrible. Arrived stone cold. Sent it all back and asked for it to be taken off the bill. Only when asking for my final bill did I realise they hadn’t. We were told that the food was cooked in the hotel next door, rather than on-site. Decided to order Uber Eats instead which arrived quickly and piping hot. Struggling to understand why the hotel are unable to do the same.

I have stayed at this Hampton twice - in 2022 and October of 2024. It's a great hotel with a wonderful breakfast buffet that's included with a lot of very tasty options. There's a tram stop just outside the hotel, and a commuter train station about a 3-minute walk away, so it's easy to get around from this hotel. Also, there's an Edeka grocery store across the street, a liquor store (Trink Gut) just outside the hotel (where you can also get soft drinks and snacks) and several restaurants down the street. I've stayed at Hamptons in Munich, Berlin and Düsseldorf, and I've been very happy with my stays. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when I'm in Munich.

Loved this hotel cleaned and spacious. We stayed for 2 nights. Their breakfast is one of the best, unlimited and serving from 6-10am. Also it’s included in your stay which is big plus.

The room is pretty small for 2 people but it’s very close to Oktoberfest. For the AC you will have to call the front desk to get it to work which is inconvenient. Would recommend getting a bigger room if you’re traveling with 2 guests.

Average budget hotel within easy access of the central station. Family room spacious however the double bed was so uncomfortable and very hard so difficult to sleep on. No noise which was amazing considering its proximity to a train station. Was fine for our stay in Munich as only stayed for 2 nights as at a music concert.

Great location. A few minutes walk from the S bahn station Donnerbergersbrucke which is about 45 minutes from the airport. There is also a tram stop just outside the hotel which goes to Marianplatz in the city centre. Breakfast was fine and the staff were very pleasant. Room was quite small but the bed was comfortable.

The hotel itself is great. Comfortable, reasonable value, very well connected to public transport and with an excellent hot breakfast booking. Be careful if you have booked several rooms and/or amended s booking before staying though - check in was quite chaotic for us, and we were overcharged which took quite a few emails to the hotel to resolve

Did not meet my expectations
This hotel had higher rates than the places I usually stay in, so I had some expectations. This time they were not met. The room was seriously cold and the heating systen obviously did not work at all; no warm air came in although the temp setting was at 25C. The toilet seat in the bathroom had a funny feature when flushing it: the water pressure was so high that some of the ”stuff” that was there, flew to the bathroom floor rather than go down the drain. Unbelievable. The breakfast room was too small, so be prepared to have your BF in the hotel lobby instead. The breakfast itself was ok. The location is good as well, everything is close by.
