Our reservation was for December 28th. We arrived early and called to see if we could check in, but they said no, which was fine. However, when we arrived at 3 PM, the scheduled check-in time, we were told we’d have to wait another hour.
When we finally got to the room, it was set up for two people, despite my reservation clearly stating it was for four. I showed them my receipt, but they insisted I only reserved for two. The room only had a loveseat, and when I complained, they brought in another loveseat instead of resolving the issue properly. My adult children couldn’t fit on them, so my son had to sleep on the floor. No refunds or discounts were offered.
To make matters worse, the previous guests of our room walked in with a key they still had. Housekeeping also entered our room twice without knocking. We felt unsafe the entire time.
Other issues:
Wi-Fi didn’t work for two of three days.
The bathroom door didn’t close.
There was a used tampon in the trash when we arrived.
The sliding glass door leaked, leaving a puddle by my bed.
The staff took no accountability and dismissed my concerns, despite how much I paid for this trip. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
