A total prison
First and foremost upon arrival you absolutely have no idea how to get into the property because there's only one entrance, second during this Covid 19 fiasco they supposedly sanitized the the unit to hospital standards which I totally doubt, third was the heat issue lucky I didn't have a child or someone elderly, I spent about 4 hours asking if the heat could be turned on or turned up, cause upon getting into the unit all the windows were left opened as a part of their sanitation method, fourth is the cameras like everywhere, I'm hoping that there weren't any in the unit, last day of my stay I got locked out of the building remember there's only one way and one way out thank God I had a guest with me which brings up the fifth issue, I book my properties via Hotels.com I've never ever had an issue with having a plus one whether I said one or two adults upon booking a property, I get home the next day I received a call from the management of the Dearborn property, I thought I maybe left something, they tell me about my guest and we have her on camera there was only supposed to be one person so on and so forth, they were trying to change me additional money cleaning which the property wasn't left trashed or no where near filthy, they were trying to demand my guest information via her driving license and if I didn't comply the Dearborn police would be involved, overall I truly advise no one to ever book there it's a total fire trap as well due to the the one entrance.

This is not a hotel. It is an old apartment building and each suite is an old apartment. So it more like a rental experience. No amenities of a hotel. Owner is very nice and provided dinner for us. Apartment was very clean, but old and cold.

Nice and clean hotel
A.C. didn't cool the room, but staff did give us a fan once we brought it to their attention.

Unique Experience
Surprised that the owner, Anita, called us and asked what time we were coming in. When I said, “About seven,” she said, “ Don’t stop for dinner, I will make it for you because my guests are family.” The “hotel” turned out to be a well cared for, older two story apartment building in a mixed use neighborhood without the typical features of a hotel like a lobby, pool, fitness center, etc. We had to wait for a very nice young man (the owner’s nephew) to let us into the building. He gave us the combination to the entry door and to our room (It is changed for each new guest.), helped us with our bags, and said that he would deliver our dinner in twenty minutes. We explored our older, but very clean one bedroom suite that had a living room, full kitchen, a dining room, a bedroom, and a full bath. There were free snacks, sodas, and cold water for us. The nephew quickly showed up with an enormous dinner on a large silver tray: beef, lamb, chicken, rice, hummus, veggies, bread, dessert, and truffles among other things. The food was fantastic!!! We did need to leave early and called the owner to tell her that we were leaving. She said, “You can’t stay for breakfast?” It was quite a unique experience—the staff of two were so warm, generous, kind, caring, and loving people. This type of stay is not for everyone. It will be unforgettable for me!!!

The personal touch was incredible. I received offers of dinner every night and the meals I was in a position to accept were phenomenal! Their personal understanding and support of my travel situation will always remain in my memory. The minor things that could have made it better, under my circumstantial needs were an iron, bar soap in the bathroom and a dresser in the bedroom. Those beautiful, healthy meals were exactly what I needed when I needed it.

It was the first time that I felt insecure in an hotel. I only stayed one night and I feel relieved. There's no indication that the place is an hotel, not even a single banner, no reception, no anything. I had to call a lady who come to open the door for me and asked for my credit card and my ID. The room was really big, and yes, it was comfortable, but I didn't received the wifi password till 10pm and then it was terrible, very bad connection. Also it was super cold, but the lady brought me a heater because it was freezing. Not a good experience.
