COLD FREEZING SHOWERS IN A TINY ROOM
The hotel room is not the on pictured in the site. Is not a room, is an storage room turned into a room under the stairs. The shower had only cold water, it didnt work. we had to beg to shower in another room because there were no other rooms available (the person on the front desk at night opened a room being painted to let us take a shower there)

We did not stay in Casa Tablada because they had an overbooking or some type of issue and they did not notifies us until I call to find out if all was ok then they told me I was moved to another hotel much different than the one I booked. Therefore my review will go only to Hotel Boutique Casa Heredia because the staff there made worth the stay and the good review, otherwise I’m extremely disappointed at hotel Casa Tablada because my reservation was donde since March and they should not have done what they did.

They Cancelled My Reservation Without Telling Me
WARNING: DO NOT SUPPORT THIS HOTEL BECAUSE THEY MIGHT CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION LAST MINUTE WHEN YOU ARRIVE! I reserved AND prepaid for my reservation months in advance to stay at this hotel. Also, shortly before my arrival, I contacted the hotel letting them know that my flight would arrive well past 10pm and informed them that I would be checking-in very late. I received no response at the time, but did not think much of it. On the night I arrived, the concierge/attendant (I believe his name was "Augusto") told me that they were fully booked and that they did not have room for me. I was upset but calmly informed him that I reserved a room months ago and that I even paid in advance, but he just gave me some lousy excuse about a screw up with their system. (To me this sounded like an obvious lie.) He stated that once they discovered the screw up they booked another room for me at a different hotel. The suspicious thing about this, however, was that they never once attempted to contact me before my arrival, nor did they receive my consent to stay at another hotel/location. It was only when I arrived (late at night with little to no options to stay elsewehere) that I was told I could not stay! When he showed me their "sister" hotel (Casa Heredia), it was clearly inferior. Just imagine being told all this after a long flight. It is extremely unprofessional, to say the least. Casa Heredia generally has cheaper rates on any given day, so they essentially charged me for a stay.
The lounge area where they told me they had to transfer me to another cheaper hotel even though I prepaid and reserved months in advance.

Alright
The place is a little run down and they don’t have an elevator. There were a lot of mosquitoes and we got eaten alive by the mosquito bites in the one night we stayed there.

The hotel is beautiful! The location is very good for getting around on foot. The staff was very friendly and helpful proving tips for how to get around and helping to arrange transportation. The breakfast was great, a lot of selection and the staff were very nice. Highly recommend this hotel, will stay here again the next time I’m in town!

Cute hotel, great location in a beautiful little street, could use some renovations. Small room but good enough to just sleep. Good breakfast made to order. Front door locked for security, ring the bell and they will come to let you in. Wifi only available in common areas. Pretty new AC unit in the room, works great! Cute little pool and jacuzzi in the terrace.

Great location and very stylish layout. I was able to walk easily to all the sights and attractions. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I only stayed for 1 night. Wifi was decent but only available in the lobby/reception area. The roof top jacuzzi wasn't very clean... Overall my stay was very comfortable.

Beautiful stay, amazing full breakfast included!
We had a wonderful stay here! The staff was very friendly and the small hotel (I think there were only 5 rooms) made it feel more like a home. We only hung out at the pool for a few cool off swims after exploring the town, but when we did, we had the whole patio to ourselves. Breakfast was amazing! Coffee, fresh juice, a full bowl of fruit and a main dish that varied each day, but typically consisted of eggs and arepas or tostadas. We loved the neighborhood too! It was less crowded than the main part of town, but still had plenty of restaurants and cafes, including La Cevicheria! I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Cartagena!

Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The hotel smells amazing and was very clean and charming. The lady who greeted us when we arrived advised us that he sude we had so much luggage between the two of us, we would not be comfortable in the standard room we booked. She automatically upgraded us to a superior room. No charge. The room is adorable and the bathrooms were nice. Very comfortable bed and ice cold AC. We didn’t have hot was yet both days in the shower, not sure if that was the entire hotel. The free breakfast was very yummy. Locayion was A+ in regards to being in the middle of the historic city and close to restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay here again

Cozy and fabulous
Boutique hotel which is lovely. You get the feeling of living in this type of classic home for the area. Service was fantastic. Rooftop lounge and pool area were beautiful. Breakfast is made to order: eggs, fresh fruit and juice, coffee, etc. Minor issue of shower leaking in our bathroom, but reception was gracious about predicting extra towels. Overall, we loved our stay. Hidden gem in a great area of the walled city.

When I arrived at the hotel the “manager” lied to me and tried to tell me my room was “broken” I could t possibly stay in it. He had re located me to another hotel not of my choice . The maintenance man was there and I had a word with him - he said the was ready! I turns out my booking was cancelled more than 8 weeks previously as he had gotten more money for it. When I was in my new hotel another solo traveller turned up and she had also been cancelled. They do it regularly my new hotel told me. The manger of the tablada was rude. Had no interest in being honest and told me he had “no way of contacting me” I would not recommend this place to anyone , they make up the rules as they go along

Great stay
The location is really nice, in the walled city, but not in the busy party zones. The little plaza right on the corner is really cool as well. Really cool rooftop area with multiple sitting areas too. The breakfast was also quite nice with fruit and eggs to order.
