Avoid this greedy hotel
We had an extremely poor experience staying at this hotel. We accidentally booked twice, and when we tried to contact the hotel via email to let them know and arrange a refund, we received no response. When we arrived we expected them to understand the mistake we’d made and reimburse us for the duplicate booking. But on arrival they outright refused to refund us. The hotel was pretty empty so it’s not like they would have lost out on another booking.
The hotel itself wasn’t great - the food was poor, loud music all night and they charged you for playing pool.
Unfortunately for Sotis, they don’t know that we own a dive shop in Alor, and many of our clients would normally use them for their overnight stay in Kupang before they fly to Alor. However we’ll be advising all clients to stay well clear and use a different hotel.
If the hotel were to contact me to reimburse us for our stay I would reconsider but currently I’m extremely disappointed in the service I’ve received.
