Clean and comfortable
I stay here when on the island for work as it’s a good location, good value and always clean. There’s also a comfortable bar and restaurant on site which I find great after a long day and breakfast is self serve and has good choice for a quick bite before heading out.

Not family friendly. £30 charge for cot bed
Average at best. Stayed there for a wedding with my 18 month old son for 2 nights. Firstly, they charge £15 per night for a travel cot which is shocking. I've stayed in 5 hotels with my son and never been charged before. Put me in a room where i had to get up and down stairs with a pram, an 18 month old and bags on my own. Also charged me £3.10 for a pint of milk to fill up a bottle. Breakfast was ok. Tiny plates and cheap filter coffee.

Very nice hotel, large room (117)- unfortunately no view, just a roof. However nice bedding, soft towels & hot shower. In house bar with a good menu, meals were substantial.Breakfast had all you needed to start the day. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful, a big plus from me

Great location in the middle of the promenade. A classic hotel but kept in good nick. Rooms were nice - not the biggest. Breakfast was excellent. Only disappointment was arrived about 45 mins early and told there was definitely no rooms available without even checking our booking or room. Baggage storage fine though, didn't really detract. Recommend staying here

First visit to IOM
Good standard hotel that’s well located for exploring Douglas and wider IOM. Room was of good order and clean excepting all sealants in bathroom were poorly applied. Good value but no better .

No on site parking
Firstly I had booked this Hotel because is says PARKING AVAILABLE! Which there is no on site parking, it is street parking and you're allowed to park for 16hrs in every 24hrs, yes it is a bit confusing! Some of the side streets are free on road parking but this is a lottery and a bit of a walk to the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable all though you could hear people running up the stairs during the evening and night. The bathroom was of goo quality but required updating, much like the rest of the island a bit run down and dated. the bed was super comfortable and I did wakeup in the night thinking that I was actually in my own bed at home! The staff were pleasant and the food at the piano bar was good although limited, there are a few restaurants if you're prepared to walk along the sea front towards the main town. Breakfast was very good, with a good selection of english buffet, continental and plenty of fruit to eat. I stayed for 8nights on a business trip and would more than likely use the same hotel again.

We had a classic sea view but we were woken by fights and arguments outside on most nights. Breakfast was enjoyable and reasonably well organised. Order taking for tea and kippers was a bit hit and miss. We were very impressed by the food offering (and the staff) in the piano bar. Shame the beer is so expensive! We would return.

I requested a early morning call. Which was ignored by the night man. But a resident talking in the hall way luckily woke me up. Other than that enjoyed
