Lovely little place with a very friendly welcoming. All the staff were polite and accommodating. The food in the evening was really good and this was on point again at breakfast. Great value for money and will most definitely stay again. Free on site Parking available

Lovely 3 night stay, when we arrived our room wasnt quite ready so they offered us a free drink, we were told that they would not be doing evening meal on the day we arrived we asked if they could recommend anywhere they booked us a table at Botley Farmhouse and organised a taxi to take us and the staff at Botley Farmhouse sorted taxi to get back the meal was lovely would highly recommend, Breakfast was lovely full english all locally sourced. Room was clean bed comfortable towels lovely and soft, nothing was to much the staff all went above beyond to make our stay pleasant, i would recommend staying here if you like village life. If you want places to visit Chartwell, Hever Castle are close by Westerham is only 10 mins away.

Dieses Hotel ist absolut empfehlenswert! Die Zimmer sind geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Bäder sind modern und blitzeblank sauber. Die Besitzer und Mitarbeiter sind äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und flexibel. Ich hatte rein garnichts auszusetzen!

Started by arriving after a long trip at 9pm to check in. Desk was open till 10pm on app. No one was in so called the number and no answer.
The door key card was left under the mat so no security, the room was extremely dirty with cobwebs over the whole room. On the lights hanging from the ceiling and the wardrobes looked battered and aged.
Only like bit was the bed but still had to sweep off the dust off the top of the sheets. Doesn’t look like it has been cleaned in awhile.
The people running it didn’t seem to fussed about the place and was letting it go when it comes to customer service and experience.
There was flys all over the bathroom and mold in the tiles of the bathroom shower.
The light was hanging off the ceiling and was extremely dangerous and the curtain pole was about to fall off too. (Housekeeper was notified)

Do Not Stay at this Property - Arrived at 7pm and No One available to check in. Sign on the door with mobile number and however when called no one answered, spoke with Expedia who were also unable to contact the owner as landline disconnected. The locals at the pub opposite tried to contact the owner for me. Finally a rep arrived after 1hr with a key fob, no apology given. Restuarant closed! Ask to check the room first as I had been forewarned from locals the rooms were smelly, as this was my request I then received a phone call from the owner, verbally abusive and said you wouldn't ask this if staying at a home! Indeed not but I am paying for a hotel room. Was told to F off and leave! Appalling, when complained via Expedia I have been refused a refund as the owner had declined. This used to be an excellent hotel with fabulous restaurant - sadly the old owner has left and the no has no-idea. Not one to normally leave reviews, but wouldn't want someone else to have a similar experiance.

Despite the friendly staff, we didn’t enjoy our stay. There was a strong, unpleasant smell in the restaurant and staircase. The shower didn’t function as a shower and just had a fierce one-stream jet wash. The room was small, old-fashioned in decor and chilly. On the plus side, the bedding and towels were clean and the inside/outside key worked.

Room was clean, tidy and spacious. The bathroom was modern and well equipped with an amazing shower. Disappointing when it came to food, well the lack of. When I stayed there was no chef so found myself driving to the next town to order takeaway which I was not allowed to use utensils from the hotel to eat. For a hotel that advertises itself as a restaurant I found this unforgiving.

This is a nice Hotel\Restaurant
It was clear that they are going through a changeover of management and operational staff, which has made for a bit of a chaotic experience.
The room we had was spotless and very comfortable, parking was easy, I am sure they will get back on top of the operational aspects including breakfast service (slow, no menu, only one woman knowing what was going on but under too much pressure)
If that is the case I am sure it will get back to being a good place to stay in a lovely area of the UK.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for a friends wedding. The service was awful from the moment we arrived. Booking system was a piece of paper with names scrawled on. Staff couldn’t find my booking until I pointed it out to them. We were offered no information on how to leave hotel when restaurant was closed and also no info on breakfast. Breakfast service was painfully slow
The room was at best just above Travelodge quality and extremely hot. Fast forward to night two when there was a massive commotion about 1.30am. It transpired that the “hotel” had double booked a few of the rooms. Out of curiosity we went downstairs around 2am to discover that the father of the groom had been left homeless from the massive f@&k up. At breakfast the next morning we found out he had been offered a mattress in the hallway as his bed for the night. Very upset that I wasted the best part of £300 on two nights in this awful place.

The room was really clean (but a bit hot during the night) and the breakfast was really tasty. The staff are really welcoming and have been really lovely. I would definitely stay again.
